A Manchester Meet up?

Seems there a few Manchester MNers who would like a meet up.

I know the SHineys are having one but feels wrong to gate crash if we haven;t posted!!

I am not volunteering to organise one, just starting a thread so other people can

I am far to lazy and likely to change my mind to do that!!

Hello! I just called Giraffe (sorry Belle, I didn't know if they had got back to you, so I thought I would chase them up, just in case)

They said the 8th should be fine, but they need to know how many people will be eating because (understandably for a restaurant) they can't really have 30+ people inc. children just having drinks.

We don't need to pre-order any food, just tell them how many of us will be eating.

So we may need a roll call of how many people are for defo coming, roughly when they will be getting there (though Giraffe said they knew people will be turning up at different times, and that was ok) and if they and their DCs will be ordering food.

TIA

Wow! It is a small world thesecondcoming! Just looked at your profile pics and think that we bumped into you on a bus a few years ago. I'll ask him later.

Not sure whether I'll be able to make the 8th - need to check with work whether I can get the day off, but my boss is off skiing this week.

At work at the moment so can't check FB to see whether I've shagged any of your husbands. Will update you later this evening...

MrsChemist · 23/02/2010 14:06

I'll post on FB as well

Hello, sorry haven't been around for a while, moving house at the moment, and organising DS's Christening which is on the 7th March! So, unless we actually move house on the 8th, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to make it! I will probably end up getting some food, so I can hide behind my knife and fork! DS wont be eating anything, but no doubt will be stopped me from eating mine

KentuckyFriedPenguin · 24/02/2010 22:43

where are you moving to skies?

MrsChemist · 25/02/2010 08:49

Bump

whenskiesaregrey · 25/02/2010 08:50

We are hopefully moving to Ellesmere Port, so even further away from Manchester- even more of an imposter!

whyme2 · 26/02/2010 10:28

Hello everyone,

I think I am a definate. And have 2 dcs. I would like to eat please.

MrsChemist · 26/02/2010 14:59

Thank you

KnitterInTheNW · 26/02/2010 18:25

DS and I are definates too, and will both be eating.

MrsChemist · 26/02/2010 19:12

Excellent, excellent!

I do love lists

Saucepanman · 26/02/2010 23:43

I am a definite, with dd, we will be arriving around midday and both eating. Unless I am puking or something then will have to cancel

BelleDameSansMerci · 28/02/2010 11:19

Sorry - only just seen this. DD and I will be coming and both eating. Giraffe did try to get back to me last week but had a nightmare week of travelling, etc.

Thank you for taking up the slack MrsC!

AnyFucker · 28/02/2010 13:56

AnyFucker · 28/02/2010 14:08

hellooo < waves back >

how is everyone ?

I have been a bit poorly-sick, but am ok now (nothing contagious....)

BelleDameSansMerci · 28/02/2010 14:13

Glad you're ok... [mother-hen emoticon] Are you really better? Are you looking after yourself?

You can tell I've been away a bit as DD is playing "mummy's going to London" with her toys and the daddy toy has to look after the little ones. It was only during the days - still can't bear a night away from her yet - but the guilt, the guilt

And the bloody wireless on the trains was dodgy so I couldn't even MN very much - honestly! Thank heavens I had a book or I would have had to do some work - ewwww.

AnyFucker · 28/02/2010 14:58

yep, am fine

< eats more cake >

you must be knackered yerself, love

BelleDameSansMerci · 28/02/2010 15:13

I find doing sod all, drinking tea and eating hot cross buns helps...

DD is getting more tv than usual this weekend
