After having congratulated Super-Ginger & her magic memory, this older mum is off to bed! The movers are arriving at 7:30 tomorrow. I hope they can hook up my PC. Oh, I don't want to go! Just think, tonight's our last night in the bed that dd & ds were conceived in. How sad is that?

gingerbear · 27/04/2005 23:02

nighty night and good luck sansouci xx

sansouci · 27/04/2005 23:03

What a ovely thread. Thanks for starting it down there Laurang63.

I was 40 in December, birth year 1964, just.

My two are 8 and 5.

I reckon these years are great. Don;t give a damn what others think of me anymore. Spent my 20s pleasing everyone and worrying about pleasing them! They can like me or lump me now!

Also, after a couple of close shaves, feel so proud to be this age. There are lots of ladies who havn't been lucky enough to make it this far, ladies like Caron Ketting et al.

I celebrated my Birthday nicely and this year is one long time of doing nice things.

mancmum · 28/04/2005 20:39

love this thread.. I have never felt old as a mum but it is great to hear from so many other mums my age... at our school gates there are mums from 17 to 51 for our 5 year olds... quite weird when you see it... we could be mums or great grans!!

Lonelymum · 28/04/2005 20:39

emmatom, I was born in dec 1964! What date may I ask?
