My dh is younger too, he's 38.
As for being younger than Madonna, true, but believe me I haven't worn quite as well as her.

Laurang63 · 27/04/2005 22:02

aww the 80s!! I loved that decade for music

but Madge has had yoga and macro-doo-dah-diets to help her.

Lonelymum · 27/04/2005 22:03

My dh is younger too - 37. He is getting really worked up about being 40, poor lamb!

TinyGang · 27/04/2005 22:03

And remembering fashion from the first time round! All this gipsy skirt stuff has been done before, not that I would possibly admit to any delights from Laura Ashley in my past!!

Laurang63 · 27/04/2005 22:03

Gingerbear you're 10 days older than me. Mines the 26th!

my DH is older.
Had a toyboy once, but the novelty wore off.

Laurang63 · 27/04/2005 22:05

My dh is 11 months younger than me, but he never lets me forget it!!

Yes, the 80s had fantastic music. Why does everyone slag it off these days? What really gets me is that here we are in 2005 & the stuff I was wearing when I was about 12 is now seriously fashionable. Can't anyone come up with something new? At least the '80s were new, even if they did have their naff side.

feelingold · 27/04/2005 22:05

gingerbear - those were the songs I was drunkenly singing and dancing to at my 40th birthday party (cringe) and my friends have the video to torture me with.

Potty1 · 27/04/2005 22:06

18th september here and gingerbear, Dancing Queen was the first single I bought.

gingerbear · 27/04/2005 22:06

Laura, we will have to exchange cards then.
Virgos are better at remembering stuff than Librans

I was a size 10 the last time i wore a gypsy skirt.

Laurang63 · 27/04/2005 22:08

Gingerbear, dh is a virgo too, he'll remind me
