That's good news. What is this disc Oggs has sent you?

Berrie · 17/01/2008 11:45

The Lee Mead album. Bet you thought it was Poultry Keeping For Beginners!

LyraSilvertongue · 17/01/2008 11:47

You've waited all this time to hear it? Call yourself a fan?

Zebedeedoodah · 17/01/2008 12:42

Hey Berrie, big hug. Are you feeling a bit better now that your mum's coming over to help? I'm so sorry it's all looking so black right now, and it's easy to say it will brighten up, but that's not really any help, is it? And you have us gals to look forward to meeting very soon

Oh, and what do you think of the cd? Was it worth the wait, or are you still too busy gazing at the cover to actually open the thing?

When I've got a bit more time (and caught up on all my emails!) I'll look at all our psycho results and see if we're likely to all kill each other

Berrie · 17/01/2008 12:50

Haven't listened to it yet

Can't look at him whilst listening to a cd Lyra

Zebedeedoodah · 17/01/2008 12:54

Berrie, with your clearly fertile imagination, do you need the physical pictures?

Berrie · 17/01/2008 14:05

I'll let you know when I've listened to it!

Zebedeedoodah · 17/01/2008 14:40

So here's the very brief summary of our random gang:
Binkle - the Inspirer
Lyra - the Thinker
Berrie - the Doer
Oggs - the Artist
Zeb - the Protector

Sooo, Binkle comes up with a blue sky idea, Lyra works out the plan, Berrie makes it happen, Oggs illustrates it and I beat anyone off with a stick who tries to stop us. Congratulations ladies, I think we have everything covered!

LyraSilvertongue · 17/01/2008 14:48

Fantastic!

binkleandflip · 17/01/2008 15:07

How are you feeling now Berrie?

Lyra, I have the exact same dream about the dead body - its horrible apparently its about the guilt of covering something up which should be brought out into the open...

Guess what? I've been given tickets to see 'swimming with sharks' with Christian Slater in London on Sat! Does anyone know if its any good? I do like him - its the voice....

binkleandflip · 17/01/2008 15:14

as for me being inspiring -

Have been to the Osteopath this afternoon...feel exactly the same

My mobile has not come

Berrie · 17/01/2008 17:44

Tee hee Zeb...I'll not be making much happen just now

binkleandflip · 17/01/2008 18:07

was it supposed to come today? How annoying! Am for you!

OP posts:
Zebedeedoodah · 18/01/2008 09:04

Berrie - have you listened to it yet?

Berrie · 18/01/2008 10:47

Morning all!
Phone came in the end, it was late because of road conditions and flooding.
Warning...never try and drive a new phone when you have PMT...I think if I wasn't prone on the sofa, I might have thrown it out of the window...still might!

I've not listened to it yet Zeb as DH goes out on a Friday so I will have a proper chance to do it without mutterings!

Is DH coming back tonight?

oggsfrog · 18/01/2008 11:01

Morning
Back still bad Berrie?
Sleeping any better Lyra?

Have spent morning typing PTA minutes/agendas/rotas. Got loads more paperwork to do...

Berrie · 18/01/2008 11:06

Yes back no better.
Ma paid for me to go to her Osteopath yesterday which was very kind of her.

I disliked him very much. I had to lie on dirty towels, his breath smelt and he was an ex P.E. teacher who, in my limited experience are horrible!

oggsfrog · 18/01/2008 11:14

Bleurgh!

Tip for the day... do not nip into other room to peep at Mumsnet after having put french bread under the grill .

Berrie · 18/01/2008 11:17

Oh yes...could do with some more emoticons

Berrie · 18/01/2008 11:19

DH has rung to say he has taken the afternoon off...now, question is, is it to tend to me and help out or finish making his plane for the anticipated window of only 5 mile an hour winds some time tomorrow?

oggsfrog · 18/01/2008 11:29

He's building a plane? What type? Cessna, Piper Cherokee or something larger like a 737...? [jaw hanging open at the size of back garden Berrie must have emoticon]

Zebedeedoodah · 18/01/2008 12:07

Maybe he's planning on helping Boeing out?

Yes, DH is planning to make it back from Milan tonight. Fortunately he's flying into Gatwick but it sounds like he's going down with seriously bad flu. . Should I order him to stay in London?!

Berrie · 18/01/2008 12:10

Ooo tricky one...he would wouldn't he?

I will let you know if the plane appears!

Zebedeedoodah · 18/01/2008 12:26

Nah! One of his favourite heiffers is expecting and he's pacing up and down like an expectant father!
