we went to Maxwells and then Browns (both round covent garden area) Browns is next to the theatre showing 'Avenue Q' which Daniel from ADWD is starring in I think - its also next door but one to the theatre showing 'Rent' with that tarty tramp whossername....

I hate to say this but I actually quite like her too . She was great with Chris Evans on the Big Breakfast all those years ago. And she is a bl**dy good singer. But she is still rather a man-eating minx, and she'd better treat our boy well, or else!

I'll tell you something you don't know... I've bought 2 skirts and a pair of boots off ebay in a panic for something to wear next week.
One skirt was originally hand-made (very badly) and from Covent Garden market. It is a curious mix of small brown check/ pink and black tartan and I must plead temporary insanity for even considering it.... oh, also it is far too small and would be better around one leg as half a pair of trousers .
The other skirt is a tiered geen thing from Per Una which is ok but not really what I was after...
The boots arrived this morning and don't fit . I haven't told dh about them and they are currently stuffed in the bottom of the wash basket .

So today's lesson is to stop buying useless bloody stuff off ebay .

Also due to awful weather today (snow/rain/wind) I'm thinking I might just go with jeans and a top/woollie...

Is no-one dressing up? I'm wearing a black crinkly dress I got in the Next sale for £6. It's quite loose fitting so it covers all my lumps and bumps.
