what happened to Oggs? Was it due to the high winds?

She was diverted to Edinburgh, had to wait for a coach, got home very very late with poor dd and dh who'd driven all that way to the airport to meet her.

DP gave me a good telling off for risking my safety the other night. I can't believe I was stumbling around the dark streets of the middle of nowhere at 2am. Thank god i had the number for a taxi firm on my phone or I might still be there now.
I drank far too much the other night. Never again. I was ill all day yesterday. i hope I didn't seem too drunk.

We wanted you to get in a taxi but you wouldnt hear of it Lyra, but at least you had a little adventure...some would say getting told off at the end is the sign of a good night!!

Glad you are ok Lyra, no you didnt seem really drunk - no more than the rest of us.

To me, it was such a good night that it made up for the awful journey home. I also said 'never again' regarding the drink - (well not til tonight anyway )

How are things Lyra? Did Dp's Dad live near or did he have to go away?

No, he lived abroad but DP spoke to him every week on the phone. He'd been ill for a long time so at least he's not suffering anymore. Now we have to sort through all his affairs. Apparently I'm doing it all as all his accounts/shares etc are over here but at least we'll save on solicitors fees. No idea where to start though.
