OK, thought I'd bite the bullet and start this thread as we were talking about the possibility on the "we're great, we are" thread

Is anyone interested in a christmas meet up? I know it's early but you know how time has a habit of flying by... I'm happy to organise if so. You can post here or email me at [email protected] I'm thinking probably London or just outside London as the place and the venue depends on how many want to come. Like batey's idea of a 70s/80s theme...

OH bum! What an incompetent smiley maker.

emsiewill · 12/11/2002 21:36

ks, really, really sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it after all. Dh is working away at the moment, so we only see him at weekends. Really am sorry to let you all down. Let me know if you are out of pocket because of this.

WideWebWitch · 12/11/2002 22:46

ks, there are 2/3 people who have emailed me to say they would like to come if anyone drops out. If no-one does they may just come for drinks. Those 3 people, can I mention your names here or not?

ks, that would be great, thanks. Since Da Marios is 6.30pm think I won't go for drinks at 5 but anyone else is welcome to. Also does anyone want to share a cab back to west London (if we want to leave at the same time)?

ks... The last month has been absolute mayhem, what with remortgaging paying for valuations on house, paying final bills after itinerant ex left house. etc etc....All in all it has been an incredible EXPENSIVE month, and very busy. I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out. Sorry if this is a problem.

Fionn · 13/11/2002 12:12

www - I'll share a cab if you're going back to where you went after the Putney meal. No offers on my spare room so I wouldn't mind the company back!

WideWebWitch · 13/11/2002 14:20

Fionn, great! Yes I am going back to where I went after the Putney meal.

willow2 · 13/11/2002 14:47

cab share sounds good idea.

clucks · 13/11/2002 15:28

I'll do cabshare with anyone on my way to SW19... can't actually remember if I included myself on time. Ks, I'm sure I did, please let me come.

clucks · 13/11/2002 15:28

Ha, Just found my posting from last month. I'm in..

scummy mummy is the invite still ok? will you e - mail me on [email protected] and anyone else can mail me too about anything!!

Tinker · 13/11/2002 18:24

Anyone for a cabshare to Manchester?

Fionn · 13/11/2002 19:23

I don't think one west London cab will be enough. I'm not far from where www is going but ks and willow2 are going south of the river. I'm sort of between the two bits of west London. Just thought I'd try and be sensible now in case we're too drunk to organise oursleves on the night and we all end up in Slough or somewhere!

willow2 · 13/11/2002 19:32

Slough's a big place....
and then there's Bracknell, Taplow.... Winnersh....

Yes ok, my sense of direction has always been crap! Best not to listen to me when it comes to ways to get home then...Sorry ks, should have remembered from the train journey that it doesn't cross the river until Barnes.

willow2. I had a friend who used to hail a black cab in Hammersmith going to "Maidenhead please, and I will be smoking"...Good idea to sort it out before hand I reckon.

I am really sorry but I am also going to have to pull out, I have just found out I am pregnant (total shock, more info on pregnancy page). I am feeling rough as old boots and if last time is anything to go by then I am in it for a while.

I wouldn't be much fun to be honest so thought it better to guve someone else a chance to go.

Sorry

Ellasmum

bossykate · 13/11/2002 21:52
