At suejonez's
Friday 25th May
Fajita night

Everyone to bring whatever they want to drink (so feel free to bring a soft drink if you are driving)

Lets agree a list of what we need first before allocating out:

I'm going to try to make this easy and cut down on the cooking for all

lets assume 10 people

tortillas (3 each?)
cooked beef mince
cooked chicken
grated cheese
avocado for slicing?
guacamole
sour cream
salsa
fried onions
fried peppers
kidney beans in chili sauce (could be bought)
salad

Anything else?

Pudding

no problem, if the weather is nice we could sit out in my very scruffy garden and have a drink first. Will have to start at 8pm to be sure of DS being asleep though...

OP posts:
quokka · 25/04/2007 13:23

I have a feeling he'll want to join in

suejonez · 25/04/2007 13:26

blimey hadn't thought of that - still he will has Paddles DD to play with

OP posts:
suejonez · 25/04/2007 13:27

OP posts:
quokka · 25/04/2007 13:35

and so you should!

Paddlechick666 · 25/04/2007 13:35

I can make guacamole.

The Old El Paso Taco/Enchilada kits are really quite good too....

I've got some ice-cream that would do for pudding - if it's owner doesn't claim it soon LOL.

sincerely hoping that dd will also be asleep by 8pm - or at least playing quietly with ds eh sue!

foxcub · 25/04/2007 13:37

Am i doing this right?:

suejonez · 25/04/2007 13:38

Oi! Hands off my bloody ice cream.

Paddle, wasn't planning on doing anything as complicated as a kit! Just a pile of ingredients that everyone can tuck into and make their own. WHats in a kit?

OP posts:
suejonez · 25/04/2007 13:39

actually Foxie you are ahead of the game as I just wanted to be sure that we had all necessarie included! But we can start allocating now if you like.

the party kits are quite good coz you get a load of ingredients like the tortillas/tacos etc some taco sauce and some spicy spices to cook off with the mince.

they're what i generally use when making tacos at home.

happy to do without but we will need the taco shells.....

suejonez · 25/04/2007 13:54

no no no - we need soft corn tortillas for fajitas!

OP posts:
suejonez · 25/04/2007 13:55
