foxabout2pop · 19/01/2007 18:04

Hi everyone - thanx for the mobile advice. I might bends your ears about it again Sat/Sun

Dd woke up at 9 am so dh and I got a lie-in. Off to run errands now and be home in time to get changed for tonight.

foxabout2pop · 20/01/2007 15:33

make sure you wear some glitter !!

pudding77 · 20/01/2007 16:11

Does milk count as glitter?

Just been to toys r us today and couldn't believe that they are selling a playdough McDonalds McFlurry shop toy

foxabout2pop · 20/01/2007 17:00

puds - milk and vomit count as glitter, but anything to do with MacDonalds most certainly does not!

sfxmum · 20/01/2007 17:14

mcplaydoughwell i make my own not paying for that!

trying to find clothes that fit my post christmas lardy arse actually all of december was a shameless muchfest but i will just lay the blame at celebrating the birthday of the baby Jesus

teen niece with my books and cd's which are apparently back in cool

foxabout2pop · 20/01/2007 17:25

sfx - I'll be ready from 6.30pm if you feel like arriving any earlier tonight. My hair is crap BTW as I can't be arsed washing it.

pregnancy is a great excuse for so many sins

MrsBigD · 20/01/2007 17:39

don't fret foxie... my hair's a desaster too, just glad it's long enough atm to be pulled back and secured with one of dd's hair thingies

See you all later!

Paddlechick666 · 21/01/2007 18:32

thanks for a great party quokka, cake was lovely!
hopefully dd will be exhausted and into bed quicksmart tonight!

lovely to see everyone too.

pudding77 · 21/01/2007 18:58

thanks for inviting us quokka, ds enjoyed himself and is already in bed!

foxabout2pop · 21/01/2007 20:49

Quokka - hope your DS enjoyed his first birthday party. Thanks for inviting us; the kids enjoyed it and your friends and family are really nice. Hope you got the chance to enjoy it a bit too

Paddle - thanks for the lift, it was a real treat not to have to drive.

Everyone: Sue will find out tomorrow whether she can travel back Tuesday - lets all send her good thoughts, prayers and whatever floats your boat. She's ours and we want her back NOW!!!

mellownomore · 21/01/2007 20:54

Thanks for the nice party. Dd certainly enjoyed herself until she got too tired. She had her first Ritz cracker and cake too!

foxabout2pop · 21/01/2007 20:58

Mellow - my DD had her first swig of coke - after which she announced "coke is nice mummy (slight pause)... its my favourite"

Paddlechick666 · 21/01/2007 21:01

lol @ foxie's dd! don't think my plan to prove how disgusting it is will work with your ds tho eh!

did you know that american highway cops carry 2 gallons of coke to rinse down the road after an RTA. it's so corrosive it clears fuel, oil and blood out!!!

pleasure to drive you, dd was loving all the attention in the back. she was asleep within minutes of dropping you guys off tho so that explains why she was a bit cranky.

foxabout2pop · 21/01/2007 21:10

Paddle - perhaps I should use coke to clean the bathroom.

Well, if I ever cleaned it that is...

DS seems completely smitted with your DD, he couldn't stop tickling her and stroking her hair

Luckily she was very tolerant and philosophical and brushed him off with a giggle.

Blimey, I'm talking complete crap aren't I? LOL

Paddlechick666 · 21/01/2007 21:17

a clean house is the sign of a wasted life foxie!

our 2 LOs do seem to get on very well don't they. your dd was sweet tho, when she thought my dd was getting upset LOL.

ahhh, must go do another obsessive check on her then i think it'll be bed for me too!

reading a new John Irving..........

sfxmum · 21/01/2007 21:30

speaking of obsessive checks, been looking in on dd since she fell asleep just before 7
no nap day

i am quite tired too and feeling like i about to come down with a cold or something best have an early night no doubt dd will be up bright and cheerful at 6am

snowmum · 21/01/2007 22:13

Quokka, thanks for today. Hope you and your family managed to find time to enjoy it too. DD had a fab time, had her first hula hoops (and wolfed them down!) Was completely hyper when she got home (nothing new there then).

Sfx, no worries on the lift. Lovely to meet you and your DD. Also great to see everyone and meet some new faces.

foxabout2pop · 22/01/2007 05:58

Morning everyone. Been up since 4.40am. Now have to decide whether to have wheetabix, a two day old croissant (warmed), or cadbury's chocolate for brekki...

decisions eh?

MrsBigD · 22/01/2007 07:07

why decide just have it all

Quokka thanks for inviting us to your ds's party sorry we had to exit early but dd gets very drama queen like when she hurts herself and is tired. ds really loved the place and I had trouble getting him out

I'm going to miss you lot when we've moved . Ah well still have the car so will be haunting the west london threads to gate crash the odd meet
