So, has everyone spotted the new profiles? Click on a name in the thread. (Like mine, I've filled one out in an attempt to avoid work)

foxabout2pop · 17/01/2007 12:22

Oxo - nfi - is that "no friggin' idea"?

Uwila - eh?

uwila · 17/01/2007 12:29

Click on "Uwila" in the blue bar just above this text.

xoxo · 17/01/2007 13:59

foxabout2pop · 17/01/2007 13:59

So log on!

uwila · 17/01/2007 14:07

It says 35-40. I don't mind posting my approximate age. But I don't really want to go handing our too much personal information.

xoxo · 17/01/2007 14:47

My profile will say: tall, skinny blond. MENSA IQ. incredibly rich.

who will ever know???? (apart from you guys and you won't tell, will you?)

MrsBigD · 17/01/2007 15:22

at your posts!

Foxi - I asked to see them...glad I did.

XOXO - I think that Dr Crap you're talking about is a temp fill in for Dr Beech (who is the best doc I have ever been to).

pudding77 · 17/01/2007 21:15

I never knew you could see your medical records but then I guess they are yours!

How is everyone? I'm just having a quick dip in tonight before heading off to bed. Got a new book that I want to read so need to go early to get my half-hour in!

foxabout2pop · 18/01/2007 09:05

I'm OK puds - Hi everyone

ooops s'posed to be in a meeting...[scuttles off]

sfxmum · 18/01/2007 09:12

hi everyone

puds hope you managed reading time, about medical records usually you put in a written request and arrange a time to go and view i think if you want copies they charge an admin fee, at least that is what my old doctor did.

hope everyone else is ok too, yesterday was a bit of a ;ost day for me, today should be better, have diverting visitors this pm

foxabout2pop · 18/01/2007 10:24

Is it still windy out there?

pudding77 · 18/01/2007 10:30

It is here foxie!

Well, I had plans to go to Lollipop this morning but ds apparently didn't fancy that and has decided to go to sleep instead!

foxabout2pop · 18/01/2007 14:06

One of my team just got back from lunch and said she saw a street litter bin being lifted up by the wind and land on the bonnet of a car (which was stationary luckily).

uwila · 18/01/2007 15:01

DH just called and I had to go to google maps and provid a personal GPS service. He is on his way to Brum and the M1 is closed from junction 17-19 (or something like that -- didn't pay much attention to which junctions). While he was driving he said bracnhes and stones were flying into my car. Yes, that's right... MY car. I expect "branches" was an exageration.

foxabout2pop · 18/01/2007 15:12

Uwila - apparently loads of the train lines are down too (mind you doesn't take much for that to happen - wrong sort of wind etc). Tell DH to make sure your car doesn't get scratched.

MrsBigD · 18/01/2007 15:28

dd just had panic attack because the wind got hold of her and practically blew her away. Poor little mite! Didn't phase ds but he's got a lower centre of gravity

OP posts:
pudding77 · 18/01/2007 15:59

Your poor dd MrsB! I've nearly had the pushchair ripped out of my hands today which was frightening enough!

sfxmum · 18/01/2007 16:16

i am exceedingly excited that dh is coming home early after being quite late everyday this week, i am sure he will be absolutely dying to cook dinner

i stayed home today did not fancy the wind and rain

pudding77 · 18/01/2007 16:19

Sfx, I wished I'd stayed home! On the bus which we had to get off because a tree had fallen across the road (right across the back of someone's car) and then coming out of a shop when some bricks were blown off the building [scared]!

But made it to story time at the library which ds enjoyed so guess it wasn't all that bad!

sfxmum · 18/01/2007 16:42

oh that sounds pretty scary puds!
dd was blown about a few weeks back and for sometime afterwards when we popped out she would enquire 'windy mummy?'poor little poppet
