Hi I am new to Mumsnet, I saw the great review in The Sunday Times, and simply had to look! I was just wondering if there are any stay at home Mums in Norfolk? I live in King's Lynn and am at home with my 17 month old son Jack. Jack and I try to get out as often as money permits, with only Richard (hubby) working, not always possible, although I do my little bit with Avon!!
Please contact me and maybe we can organise days out and meets etc.........

Monsters? Yes, I've been a couple of times. Ds and dd both love it. Dd always wants to play in the older kid's main playground which is a headache - she gets a bit bored in the toddler sections and she wants to follow ds.

Thats it ,i couldn't remember the name of it!!!! Thinking of going in half term actually, maybe if you're about we could meet there?

cupcakes · 20/10/2004 10:11

Hi louee! This is till boomama - I've had a brainwave and thought of a much better name to use!
My dh is off work for most of half term so we are off out on trips to friends so I won't be around for a Monsters trip. Will def. post to let you know next time we are going.
It is good there - it still feels lovely and new and clean! If you're having lunch get in early because they do take a really long time to cook the food!

I didn't realise there was an indoor play thing at Diss now - which estate - the one near the station ? I will have to try bravingit sometime.

Louee - Great Moulton is where we take our train addicted kids trainspotting !

Cupcakes - welcome ! I have 21 month old twins and a 3 year old.

cupcakes · 20/10/2004 15:24

sorry, that should say this is still boomama!
Throckenholt- Monsters is off Sawmills Road / Sandy Lane. As you come into Diss from the A140 turn right at the traffic lights. Drive up to the mini roundabout and turn right then right again into the Business Park. hth!
My ds has just received a party invite for there so is very excited!

louee · 21/10/2004 11:20

Willowmum · 28/11/2004 14:36

Hello Selene and Crockster - I'm quite new at this MN thing as well, also live in Norfolk (Diss) but my in laws live in Yarmouth (Gorleston) so we're over there quite a lot.

I have one dd, 7 months. Lived in Diss for 3.5 years, moved down here from Warrington.

How are you finding MN so far? Still don't think I've got the hang of it yet, but I keep trying

Lowryn · 03/12/2004 19:33

Hello! I may be moving to Norwich in the next couple of weeks and wondered if there was anyone in the Eaton area.
I hope to be moving to near the CNS school and have a DD of 3 and a DS of 7 months.
Does anyone know any good pre schools, playgroups etc around this area???

Hi ZCMum, I'm not far - where are you?

ZCMUM · 15/12/2004 22:02

Right in town centre.

ZCMUM · 15/12/2004 22:11

I'm a minute from the lovelly sandy shore of Great Yarmouth, in the summer how about all us Norfolk mums have a beach party there?!?! Picnic and sandcastle making with the kids eh? Any1 up for it?

KatieMaChristmas · 15/12/2004 22:11

I'm out in the sticks - I haven't seen you on here before - Have I?

Are you new?

ZCMUM · 15/12/2004 22:14

I've only been on a couple of times before, under 'selene', only really got into it today! Only moved down Great Yarmouth in Oct from North East, looked on this site initially to see if there were any other norfolk mums on.

KatieMaChristmas · 15/12/2004 22:24

Like the beach idea - but as I work very fulltime I might not make it...we have had money problems recently - so I'm full on earning money

ZCMUM · 15/12/2004 22:30

Let's keep the Norfolk mummies thread going Are you all sorted for christmas, money is tight for us aswell lately with the move!

KatieMaChristmas · 15/12/2004 22:34

Kind of - before the problems I'd booked a week in Maderia, so We're off soon - our biggest problem will be parsuading the Burgalar plaguing the village - that we have no money and no jewellery - so leave us alone
