Hi I am new to Mumsnet, I saw the great review in The Sunday Times, and simply had to look! I was just wondering if there are any stay at home Mums in Norfolk? I live in King's Lynn and am at home with my 17 month old son Jack. Jack and I try to get out as often as money permits, with only Richard (hubby) working, not always possible, although I do my little bit with Avon!!
Please contact me and maybe we can organise days out and meets etc.........

mum28 · 05/04/2004 12:03

trust me its fun for all ages, even us mums.i've been already, only downside is the distance to travel.

mum28 · 05/04/2004 12:04

Right i am going this time!

jodiemay · 05/04/2004 12:04

I am a bit frightened of butterflies and Jack will want to eat them all, he's a bit young for that! How about Banham zoo? Blickling Hall? Snettisham park Farm?

OP posts:
mum28 · 05/04/2004 12:49

Banham zoo would be nice.trust me its not that bad at the butterfly park.there are lots of butterflys but they dont come near you.there are lots of other things to see as well.

jodiemay · 06/04/2004 07:28

Morning girls. Ok, butterfly park I will give a go. Someone suggested on another link, Wimpole Hall in Cambridge and Linton Zoo in Cambridge too. We must do them too. I still can't believe there are only the 3 of us in King's lynn out of 17000 odd members! We must get more Lynners together!!!!!!!!

sorry, but i've decided not to meet up after all. its nothing personal honestly... but my dh isnt happy about me meeting up with strangers. hope you two still meet up though. you'll probably have more in common as you children are older and will enjoy similiar activities. have fun!

jodiemay · 09/04/2004 08:08

I think that's a shame, Mum28 maybe we can have a coffee morning instead? Let me know what you think before 15th.........
Spod, I understand what your husband is saying, but a shame none the less!

OP posts:
mum28 · 14/04/2004 18:00

jodiemay · 14/04/2004 22:04

OP posts:
mum28 · 15/04/2004 21:41

Spod · 15/04/2004 21:45

its nothing against meeting other mums, but i'd rather be safe than sorry. you are new to mumsnet - you saw the sunday times peice i guess.... but for all i know you're some weird bloke! it really is nothing personal.

jodiemay · 15/04/2004 21:58
