Meet-ups

When meeting up take sensible precautions. Meet in a public place and let others know where you are going.

Another N West London attempt, but more Watford than NWLondon!

Hi girls

I live in Pinner and Janstar and Bobsmum are up for a meet-up and we're hoping to rope in Alibubbles cos she's not to far away either.
Juno, Dot, Kayleigh, LisaLisa and anyone else that can get to Watford(ish) without driving all day and night - do you want to try and meet in Watford-ish area? I'm going to do some re-search into a good place to go. I'm sure there's an activity centre with coffee tables round the sides for us. Will get back to you on that, meanwhile - who's up for having a quick cuddle of each others kids??!!

Hi Cori What days are your free? We're hoping to go to the Playdome in Watford when it reopens in April, so we'll definitely be meeting around then (if not before!).

Karen99 · 24/02/2004 07:36

Alison222 - let me know your postcode via "contact another talker" and i'll work out the route for you. Alternatively let me know where you do know (Watford, Harrow, Wembley) and I can direct you from there.

Janstar · 24/02/2004 08:36

Ealing-Bushey should be pretty straightforward, North Circular + M1?

Karen99 thanks for the RAC site, very useful indeed.
I now know it will take me 17 mins to get there from Barnet so will leave at 10:43 and be there at 11:00 on the dot

karen99 · 24/02/2004 13:59

I think the RAC site forgets to take into account London traffic....

alison222 · 24/02/2004 17:58

thanks - I think I should manage with that See you all Friday - If I can recognise anyone that is

alison222 · 27/02/2004 08:32

I'm sorry that I'm not going to make it this morning. DD has terrible cold and is feeling very sorry for herself. Its not fair to drag her out so far today. Oh well maybe next time.Hope you all have a good day

karen99 · 27/02/2004 09:00

Alison222, what a shame. I hope your dd feels better soon. I've started another thread here so we can try again in March or April.

Supersonic also can't make it and Thomcat is a maybe..

I have a friend joining us too with her ds. She is meeting me at 10:30 so we should [hopefully] be there by 11am.

karen99 · 27/02/2004 19:06

Thanks for a great afternoon everyone. It was really nice meeting you and catching up from last time. Have a look at the other thread (sorry, started a new one as I was fed up of scrolling down the length of this one!) and maybe we can meet up again in April.
