Morning all.

[[Here's the Spreadsheet as always

I hope everyone had a good week, and that any Mother's Day treats haven't messed things up too much Grin

So we enter our final two weeks. Still time to shift a couple of those pesky pounds - especially if you keep focused and stay strict. And a reminder, channelling my inner Shag, WATER, WATER, WATER!

I’m 3lbs down this week, which makes 8lbs in two weeks - heading into dreaded week 3 though so I’ll expect to see that slow down somewhat.

BIWI · 15/03/2021 08:13

Great progress!

@BIWI I need to give you a massive thanks. I don't do confrontation.

I am 1lb down this week which I'm more than happy with. I have realised it's exactly 8 weeks till my birthday and I have 8kgs to go to Bmi of 25. Up until the last couple of weeks I have been losing a kg a week. So I intend to stay strict. I can't believe the goal is in site after so many years of being obese.
Good luck everyone.

ListenLinda · 15/03/2021 08:23

2lbs off here. Into the stone below, for the first time since DS was born! A total of 10.5lbs this boot camp and 1stone since 1st Jan :) really happy with that!

I have a days annual leave today as I thought I was taking DS for a pre operation assessment, but it is a telephone consultation. Dropped them at nursery and I may just have a relaxed day today to make up for yesterday and DH working all weekend!

Just had fried eggs on low carb bread for breakfast, don’t know what lunch will be yet but got some juicy fatty steaks in the fridge for tea!

ouchmyfeet · 15/03/2021 08:29

I've put on half a pound. I shouldn't be surprised, this is how weight loss always goes for me, 2 weeks of losing weight followed by 2 weeks not losing weight. Despite not being surprised I am really fucked off about it today but will KOKO. It's just incredibly frustrating to have to work at something 100% of the time in order to get results 50% of the time.

Well done to all those who've had losses, bring on week 9

Cactusowl · 15/03/2021 08:43

@ouchmyfeet I follow the same pattern as you so understand your frustration.

I’ve had a very good loss this week after seeing the same number on the scales for what felt like ages. Must remember that if I stick the plan and keep going the weight will eventually come off!

venusandmars · 15/03/2021 08:50

@ouchmyfeet when I'm in the staying the same phase I try to see it as my body consolidating the weight loss I've already achieved in the previous couple of weeks.

I'm 0.8 down, which is good. I'm going to be really strict over the next 2 weeks because another couple of pounds would take me to a 1stone loss since Christmas Eve. Got a more manageable week workwise too, so I can return to 16:8 pattern of eating. And will manage the water.

B - ham and cheese 'sandwich' with cucumber and lettuce and mayonnaise
L - soup, boiled egg
D - confit duck leg, cauliflower cheese, aubergine parmigiana

Elpheba · 15/03/2021 09:04

I’ve been lurking a bit as wobbled after Valentine’s Day but last week I was super strict and had a 2lb loss. I’ve got 5lb to lose until my first stone is gone- feels very slow going compared to this time last year. I’m glad the next boot camp is quite soon as I want to keep momentum going- and hopefully will make me not lose the plot over Easter/Birthday season in our house!

Frty · 15/03/2021 09:07

3lbs for me this week, which is just wonderful. So happy I have found you people!

Doilooklikeatourist · 15/03/2021 09:11

Not going to be standing on the scales as I was a carby twat yesterday
Two weeks to go , and I WILL be back to the pre Christmas weight

Ninkanink · 15/03/2021 09:19

💐💐💐 and (low carb) 🍰🍰🍰 to all!

@ouchmyfeet 💐💐 I think I’d be working hard at changing that mindset because it’s going to work against you. I like to look at it like a staircase and accepting that for whatever reason the scales like to step up and down in a random little pattern but they’re still making their way downwards (kind of like a toddler on a walk - they can happily walk for miles if you let them stop and look at every flower, meander down the side, pick up sticks and rocks, etc etc)

And your body is doing the work 100% of the time too, you just have to let it do it’s thing.

Are you dressing well in outfits that you like, looking after yourself, doing hair/make up if that’s your thing, and enjoying the fruits of your labour so far? If not maybe switch over to doing that more rather than focusing on specifics of weight so much.

And again, if you’re not taking photos and measurements weekly, start doing so now! - it really helps to still have evidence that your body is changing and progress is being made.

Ninkanink · 15/03/2021 09:23

Oh I STS this week. Tbh I’ll be happy with my weight loss over the period of BC even if I don’t lose any more - any little bit is a bonus. I’m not sure yet whether I’m going to go very strict over this last two weeks or whether I’ll just stick with Light and take it as it comes, haven’t decided yet. Since I’m continuing through to the next bootcamp there’s no ‘end’ for me.

RagzReturnsRebooted · 15/03/2021 09:27

Morning all. Finally caught up on the last thread, I spent most of yesterday being lazy and recovering from the agony of Saturday. Still a bit sore but not enough to need painkillers so far today. Plus I'm at work so that usually helps.
Yesterday food was creamy coffee for breakfast, SLR roll with pork patty, a fried egg and cheese for lunch and kebab for dinner (lamb, chicken and a FL of salad plus chili sauce and garlic mayo) with a small bar of 85% chocolate and another bedtime creamy coffee.

1lb down despite TOTM and all the painkillers, so I think next week's weight will be better. 8.5lbs off so far and I'm 2 weeks behind. Not bad. Had hoped for a stone but although I've had no cheats I really do have a lot of dairy, so I could lose quicker if I was strict but I'm not at the point I feel I want to do that yet.

pinkpinkeverywhere · 15/03/2021 09:40

2.2 loss for me which means I've lost over 1 1/2 stone this bootcamp and have now probably lost what I put on in lockdown! I'm really pleased and am going to keep going as I still have a long way to go.
Hearing people talk about being insight of a healthy BMI inspires me as that goal is still over a stone away for me and not one I've been near since pre-children and I now have teenagers Blush

Mimosa1 · 15/03/2021 09:56

0.4kg off for me, so just under 1lbs. I've seen lower in the week so I'm focusing on that. I've just squeaked into a normal BMI so that's nice. Another 2kg off will get me to where I was at the end of the last BC, sigh. Onwards!

LongtimelurkerL · 15/03/2021 10:11

Really keen to get on it today - so far 2 cups of black coffee and 1/2 litre of water. Will get to 2 ish I think (of just water, coffee not being counted) - is that ok @BIWI (it's hard to drink more as i'm a teacher and so can't just get up to pee whenever!)
Lunch - Sesame oil, guac, mayo, brie and green veg salad
Dinner - Chicken caesar salad with tuna mayo
Snack - slice of parma ham

Blurpblorp · 15/03/2021 10:14

Hello - I'd like to join please. Shocked to discover yesterday that I'm 1.5 stones heavier than pre-lockdown. Low carb works for me so am getting my head around the eating plan and starting enthusiastically today!

Not sure this is strictly that good but I had a carrot, apple and ginger juice for breakfast, a 30 minute brisk walk then will have greek salad for lunch and not sure about dinner yet... maybe a mushroom omelette. Am getting through my water too!

cheeseisthebest · 15/03/2021 10:16

Well done everyone, KOKO ouchmyfeet! I was like that a few weeks ago.

Could someone update the spreadsheet for me please, I an down 2lb and am now 9st 13lb.
Have a good day everyone.

cheeseisthebest · 15/03/2021 10:23

Ouchmyfeet meant to say more, I felt very like one step forward two back but measuring helped. I've now lost 3.5 inches of my waist this bootcamp and my stomach is so much flatter despite some real slowdown.
I still have c section overhang though, had 2, what can I do about that?

BIWI · 15/03/2021 10:25

@LongtimelurkerL

Sounds fine - but where's your breakfast?! For the first two weeks you need to have three meals a day.

Also, veg beyond just salad! That's where your carbs should be coming from.

@Blurpblorp

You're very welcome to join us Flowers

However ...

Not sure this is strictly that good but I had a carrot, apple and ginger juice for breakfast

I don't know the brand of juice, or if you made it yourself, but it's likely that the carbs in that will be too high. Fruit juice, generally, is definitely out I'm afraid.

Morning! Been catching up with the thread.

So many brilliant losses! It's very inspiring.

Another pound off for me, so 11 & a half this boot camp. Very pleased, & people are starting to notice Smile

Had a bit of a mad Mother's Day food wise. It had been a pretty tough week, & it proved too much for my self-control.

Back on it today though!

ChristMyArse · 15/03/2021 10:43

Morning all!

Some brill losses again!! Fab fab fab.

I'm 1.4 down which I'm happish with, however yesterday I was 3lb down and wasn't misbehaving, so a tad frustrated that I've gone back up- however KOKO is the way forward. Total of 16lb off since Jan 1st. It's more than I've ever achieved from a WOE before so I'll take that!!

I need to catch up on the last thread so will be back tonight once I've had a good read.

Happy Monday all 💐

EarlGreyHot · 15/03/2021 10:57

Well done to everyone who has seen a loss this morning. I have gone up ever so slightly (0.4lb) from my whoosh so am holding off putting in the spreadsheet until I see tomorrow's weight Grin

I haven't lost a lot this bootcamp (although have lost 18lbs since start of pre-Christmas BC) but I am now a couple of lbs below my old "comfortable" weight so the idea of my body and metabolism getting used to the "new" weight is interesting.

I'm also interested in how people have set their weight loss goals - my ultimate goal is my wedding weight so another half stone to go, my next mini goal is 3.5lbs away and that'll be my lowest weight post DC. I just wonder will a lifetime of weight loss struggle and negative body image kick in even when I reach goal... I can never remember a time when I was "happy" with my weight
