Morning all.

Very late arrival home last night - flight left Amsterdam over 2 hours late, so didn't get home till almost 2 am. Cue night of horrible insomnia - despite fatigue!

And of course, was finally fast asleep when the alarm went off Hmm

Anyway here is the spreadsheet

I haven't had time to catch up on all the posts, so not sure if this is going to be a great Monday or otherwise!

But fingers crossed all has gone well this week. Will read all the posts and come back later.

Oh posted before I caught up with the thread. Have now seen your explanation Shagme. Grin

SittingontheSidelines · 28/06/2019 14:08

Congratulations@GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal. Sounds like a fantastic evenings entertainment. And brilliant about the review.

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/06/2019 15:01

there scales, you can piss off, this is happening, whatever you say!

There's still space under my patio

I can't believe we have a bona fide star on the thread. And a Terry Pratchett fan to boot.

Almahart · 28/06/2019 17:33

18pages that’s great!

I’ve got to my sort of standard weight - this is where I used to hover around thinking I could really do with losing half a stone. At about five pounds less I feel much better. I am so happy I’ve lost a stone this bc and am planning to koko but I’m struggling to do v strict bc which was my intention at this point. Not complaining by any means

IStillMissBlockbuster · 28/06/2019 18:20

I'm developing a real case of the "fuck its". I weighed myself this morning and i'm up 1lb. Feeling frustrated.

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/06/2019 18:24

I wish I could screen shot my MyFitnessPal graph Almahart. During BCs, very wobbly line down. Between BCs (and with a case of fuck it) straight line up.

If I had LCHF the whole time, I'd be goal weight now. Wobbly line (including lots of up as well as down) goes down over time. But the fuck-its, It's up all the way. Plus IBS, bloating, yukkiness.

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 19:01

Oh this weather makes me want to be baaaaaaaad. Am getting into the women’s World Cup, which is triggering muscle memory for last years men’s. Dunking an entire bag* of Walkers Max Strong crinkle cut into a massive bowl of Greek yoghurt whilst necking ice cold bottles of San Miguel

Nice cup of tea tonight Smile

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 19:05

Thanks campers for the support. And it’s great hearing tales from you lot who are near to goal or have reached it and bouncing up and down a bit.
I’ve still got at least 2-2.5 stone to go before at my upper expected goal. If I could just get into the next stone down (6lbs away) I might believe it will happen. Listening to others’ experiences really helps me to keep the faith. especially when fantasising about crisps and beer

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 19:07

couple of pirates in the crows dtd made me the giggle

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 19:07

*crows nest!

Hmm Confused

VeryLittleOwl · 28/06/2019 20:08

Greebo - congrats on the review!

I successfully swerved Belgian waffles with butterscotch ice cream in the restaurant at lunch today and am rewarding myself with a big bowl of strawberries, blueberries and double cream for supper tonight :)

Rshard · 28/06/2019 20:18

Are you a daily weigher istillmissblockbuster?
Have you stayed on track today so far?

Notlostjustexploring · 28/06/2019 20:31

I've been missing in action for weeks, and I'll be chattier in subsequent posts, but because I've got five minutes now I need to chip in with with this for those who need it:

If you've put on a couple of pounds in the last couple of days, do not give in.
I can typically put in up to 6lbs through water retention in warmer weather, and I'm sure it can't just be me.

Keep necking the water and do not give in to the fuckits

SittingontheSidelines · 28/06/2019 22:46

Today's food

Lunch. A left over burger, slice cheese, mayo and cherry tomatoes.

Dinner. Left over curry. Dressed leaves cucumber and yogurt.

And no giving up any one. The way I look at it if I wasn't boot camping I'd probably be ten pounds heavier by now so even if I've lost nothing I've lost the ten pounds I would have put on.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 28/06/2019 23:05

Swerved pudding - partly because they took too long to take pudding orders. Didn't swerve 2 glasses of fizz Hmm

IStillMissBlockbuster · 28/06/2019 23:07

I tend to weigh twice a week and I've stayed on plan today except I had some pork scratchings at the cinema because I wanted to crunch and they were the closest things to pop corn or crisps I was gonna get. I bought 4 pack of Mars ice creams for the nice weather. But haven't eaten any

venusandmars · 28/06/2019 23:08

B - ate up everything left in the fridge, smoked salmon, salad, mayo, yogurt
Then coffee with cream at the airport.
L - on a plane for 7 hours, by the time they got to me there was only pasta left. I turned it down and the cabin crew brought me 3 side salads, 3 portions of cheese and 3 big glasses of wine.
D - giant seafood salad

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 23:35

Indian takeaway here - sag paneer, brinjal bhaji, chicken tikka and a small bit of veg pathia. Small Aldi 85% choc bar (4.6g carbs). That on top of 3 creamy coffees and one cup of tea today. Feeling absolutely stuffed now. But happy because I didn’t give in to the call of beer/crisps/wine. And actually, it wasn’t hard to resist, think it was genuinely a habit-memory triggering my craving earlier rather than a genuine want.

Well done to everyone who has managed to track/swerve all the wrong things on a Friday night/long flight!
And thanks again for sharing all your words of wisdom/encouragement. It really does help the KOKO spirit.

Doilooklikeatourist · 29/06/2019 06:55

As yesterday started with toast , and ended with a mars bar ice cream and lots of cold white wine , it’s fair to say I need to do better today 😩
Planning a coastal walk , tomorrow, with a picnic , ( a cheats picnic from M & S ) and DH is already enthusing about pork pie , and Belgian flapjack .. I think I might need to choose more carefully!

Rshard · 29/06/2019 07:42

Well done istillmiss for staying on track. The gain is more then likely a blip. It’s been hot, perhaps you’re a bit lacking on water?

Sounds like lots of dodging of bad choices has been going on - get us! I swerved potatoes and garlic bread so feeling quite smug

prettybird · 29/06/2019 10:10

Braai last night with giant prawn (with garlic mayonnaise), lamb kebabs (marinaded in Mas-al-Hanout and olive oil) and chicken drumsticks (marinaded in ff Greek yoghurt, grated ginger, mashed garlic, finely chopped chilis, ground cumin, turmeric and smoked paprika). Decided we didn't need the pork burgers (with garlic, olive oil, egg, finely chopped shallot and generous amount of Worcserstershire Sauce) so they can be frozen for future.

Served up with big green salad (from the garden) and a tomato and basil salad, with nice oily dressings.

All very good and low carb Halo. The copious amounts of wine Wine not so much Blush

Notwatchingtvtoday · 29/06/2019 10:49

Morning all
Prom went well, they all looked fabulous and dd is still asleep. It is always very humbling to see how hard the teachers and staff work work to ensure that these beautiful young people who all have special needs can have such a special prom night.

I had a lay in so weighed a bit later than normal, was 10 stone 6 and 3/4 so have nudged into the next half stone off, I’m only 5 foot 2, so I am still very heavy for my height, will check if I’m into normal bmi later 😀

B coffee with butter and tsp double cream
Greek yogurt, Tsp Linwoods and 1 frozen raspberry crumbed on top
L egg salad
D chicken, salad and Celaric chips

Had a low spot yesterday and ate about a quarter of a tub of Marsacapone, made me feel quite sick , so hoping to have a more stable day today.

I’ve bought some lovely raspberries so may make a creamy pudding out of them as a treat for later.

Notwatchingtvtoday · 29/06/2019 10:50

Ps
Not made celaric chips before, any tips ?

Rayna37 · 29/06/2019 11:29

Found masses of raspberries in the garden (neglect leading to best crop ever) so having more fruit than usual. Also seem to have lost the invisibility tin for the biscuits at work, has anyone seen it? Four days in a row I've eaten great LCHF meals but also deviated for crappy snacks. Needs to stop. Today was my first lb off after STS since Monday (daily weigher) due to too many "one won't hurt" extras.
On the bright side, amazing late breakfast inspired here of mushrooms, spinach, eggs with a sprinkling of Parmesan and drizzle of truffle oil. Terrible parkrun though.

AsleepAllDay · 29/06/2019 11:38

Does anyone else have foods they can't take any more after eating them on keto for so long? Mine are halloumi (fried), kebab meat, eggs as an omelette/scrambled. Also ground beef but I might be able to stomach a low carb chilli

Trying to figure it out as I'm trying to lose the 15 pounds I put on after letting loose post goal weight! Wasn't very wise but at least I'm not at my heaviest
