Morning all.

Very late arrival home last night - flight left Amsterdam over 2 hours late, so didn't get home till almost 2 am. Cue night of horrible insomnia - despite fatigue!

And of course, was finally fast asleep when the alarm went off Hmm

Anyway here is the spreadsheet

I haven't had time to catch up on all the posts, so not sure if this is going to be a great Monday or otherwise!

But fingers crossed all has gone well this week. Will read all the posts and come back later.

Hello @Ninkaninus, glad you are enjoying the sunny weather

That celeriac recipe looks great @Notwatchingtvtoday.

I've just made a batch of almond cream cheese pancakes for breakfasts this week Grin

Hallo Ninkaninus! Good to see you

Notwatchingtvtoday I am absolutely going to copy that recipe

Feeling saintly as went to the seaside, had a proper swim was was absolutely BC compliant while all around ate chips and ice cream

SittingontheSidelines · 30/06/2019 23:31

My day went completely awry when i ended up in hospital with child having appendix removed. Child will be fine. However my stomach now contains carbs it shouldn't. It was that or not eat.

NigellaAwesome · 01/07/2019 00:11

@SittingontheSidelines Thankswhat a worry that must have been. Glad DC is ok.

MrsTerryPratchett · 01/07/2019 00:58

Sitting! Hope DC recovers quickly.

SittingontheSidelines · 01/07/2019 05:39

Thanks. He's doing good but may not be allowed home today.

Rshard · 01/07/2019 06:59

Nice to see you back nink

Those pancakes look superb notwatching!

Glad to hear to ds is doing well sitting

Rayna37 · 01/07/2019 07:11

Urgh, unusually for me I'm paying for my sins: mediocre afternoon tea consumed as part of an NCT gathering and I'm still uncomfortable now! Got a difficult week of houseguests and days out to negotiate too but at least this will motivate me to try to stay on plan. Currently weighing in 4.2lbs over target with a small gain from last week after aforementioned afternoon tea and start of period.

starsky22 · 01/07/2019 07:31

sitting that sounds stressful, glad he's ok and hope he's hope soon

nink nice to see you again, don't be a stranger

BIWI Thanks for the reminder, I've definitely been stretching the rules a bit recently.

Weighed in yesterday and im 1lb down for the week, which im happy with.

Planned day off yesterday at the Food Festival, fasted in the morning and had greek souvlaki, churros and pata del nata, all delicious, was pretty full still in the evening, so just had a few bits of chicken fried with pesto. Back on it today and planning a strict week!

MrsBertBibby · 01/07/2019 07:34

Hope his recovery is swift, Sitting.

Morning all!

2 pounds down this week. 2 pounds to get to my lowest (or should that be highest?) target. Least acceptable, anyway.

Keep on it, Rayna.

starsky22 · 01/07/2019 07:34

notwatching your celeriac recipe sounds great, I've screen shotted it to give it a try

1Wildheartsease · 01/07/2019 07:51

That's tough sittingonthesidelines! Hope today is better for you both.

You had every reason to fall for carbs- but hope you don't suffer for that today.

It is odd how difficult it is to get non-carb food in hospitals. Even motorway service stations (M&S ) now do a good number of suitable snacks. I was unexpectedly stranded at the weekend but found prawns with dipping mayo/ ham and egg salad/individual Greek yogurt and pork crackling snacks. More like this please world!
