Morning all.

Very late arrival home last night - flight left Amsterdam over 2 hours late, so didn't get home till almost 2 am. Cue night of horrible insomnia - despite fatigue!

And of course, was finally fast asleep when the alarm went off Hmm

Anyway here is the spreadsheet

I haven't had time to catch up on all the posts, so not sure if this is going to be a great Monday or otherwise!

But fingers crossed all has gone well this week. Will read all the posts and come back later.

And back on message - fasted again today, dinner about to happen. Would have happened already but I forgot to put the frigging salmon in oven and only noticed when I started to take the veg out to plate up Hmm

I so deserve whoosh. Am stopping fasting over weekend but will maybe start again Monday if my head is in the zone for it. Trying a bit of experimenting to get the scales moving again.

It’s exactly like BIWI was saying the other day though, fasting while LC is a different ball game. I am amazed at how easy the past few days have been. Makes me realise how much I was eating during day out of habit rather than actual hunger. Lunch to punctuate the middle of the day etc. When I used to fast, and was not LC proper, I’d be chewing my nails off making my calories spread out as much as I could.
Not sure how long it will last, knowing me I’ll be the opposite next week and demanding a fry up for breakfast everyday!

Is hubby back and erm... making himself useful

Yes.

Youwanapizzame · 27/06/2019 21:38

I am fond of the saying "the bees knees " and sometimes say to people "You are the knee of a Bee!" So @BIWI "You are the Wee of a Bee" lol 😂🤣😂🤣

Had a terrible day. Felt terrible, tired (well exhausted) and hungry. I ate lunch, then got more lunch (on plan) then ate 3 bags of crisps. Then later went to get a cheese roll. I opened it and it had horrible swiss cheese in so I only ate a mouthful and binned it.... what's wrong with me...

Please form an orderly queue to kick my mum

venusandmars · 27/06/2019 22:23

ShagMe hope you're enjoying your flowers.... Grin Wink

I've added my current weight to the spreadsheet. Off on holibobs tomorrow. See you all for the final week. x

Doilooklikeatourist · 27/06/2019 22:28

MrsBert it is worth it , you’re not a whale , tomorrow is another day , Step away from the photos and focus on getting on with it
KOKO

Not bad here , weather has been beautiful ( a bit hot TBH ) so at least the WATER WATER WATER has been easy
B cheese 2 egg omlette
L ham and cheese , green salad

D chicken curry with broccoli
However , the glass of Sauvi B on the patio was impossible to resist ..

MrsTerryPratchett · 28/06/2019 01:33

I like WATER! WATER! EATER!

Much better.

BustedDreams · 28/06/2019 07:04

Weighed late this week due to not having access to scales. Shocked to find I’m up 2lbs as I’ve done heaps of manual work. However ive not eaten properly and fell of wagon due to running out of allowed food. Lesson learnt.

I also need to drink more water.

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 07:09

Weigh in day today - 163lbs which I think is 0.6lb down from last Friday.

Ffs Hmm

Still, will KOKO! Despite drinking gallons I don’t think I’m weeing as much as I’d expect to, and still feel a little dehydrated so maybe the heat is causing water retention?

It’s a marathon...

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 07:15

Just checked spreadsheet, that’s a whopping total of 1.4lbs loss this bc.

Siameasy · 28/06/2019 07:36

Also been MIA but good to catch up and see how people are doing.
I’m maintaining now and am 9.6 which I think is about right for me.
I went on a hen weekend, I did drink but stuck to correct food and came back lighter!! Did around 30k steps one of the days tho!
I was over exercising and was feeling really dizzy plus having heavy legs so on gym days only I now eat something in the morning with 25g carbs and it makes a huge difference. I used to be ravenous and faint afterwards but now I’m not.
I have gone back to a gymnastics class I used to go to. When I went before I was 2st heavier! It’s amazing how much easier things are now. I’ve done a front somersault so am well chuffed at 43!! Life is so much better slim!

Rshard · 28/06/2019 07:38

Not weighed in as did early swim run and while I am awake, not all of my body wakes at the same rate it seems - if you know what I mean! I’ll weigh tomorrow instead.

Still a loss 18pages!

Good luck to the other Friday weighers!

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 28/06/2019 09:11

We did our first show last night! It was fantastic - gorgeous weather, beautiful venue (a genuine Roman theatre - there's something wonderfully weird about playing somewhere actors and gladiators were performing thousands of years ago!) and a lovely, enthusiastic audience. I only speak in four scenes, but got laughs for all of them.

And thanks to Boot Camp, I think I looked pretty good in my Regency dress too! Grin

Notwatchingtvtoday · 28/06/2019 10:19

Morning all and well done greebols for your first performance. 18pages do you remember BIWI’s picture holding the 1 lb of fat, that is 1 and a half of those that your not carrying around.

Am off to buy teacher’s presents this morning and then to pick up my dd who finishes at her special needs sixth form college this afternoon, I think it may be very emotional.

B coffee and Greek yogurt
Snack small portion of Greek yogurt and Marsacapone - to fortify my fir shopping trip
L eggs
D beef curry and cauliflower rice

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 10:26

That’s great Greebo, bet you looked fantastic! But more importantly, am so pleased that you felt good.

I know Rshard. I know.

Just popping back actually to report a NSV rather than leaving things on a negative note earlier... I’m having a bit of a house sort today, mostly clothes and linen etc. And the number of things I’m sending to the charity shop because they were nothing special anyway and are now too big to even be useful (I’ve been buying practical rather than nice stuff for years in a ‘no point because I’m losing weight and then it won’t fit’ kidding myself way).

On a less satisfying note, I’m also finding that things that I like but have barely worn because wasn’t quite happy with the fit, are now getting too big to make work. Stuff I had to buy in big sizes to cover boobs, but now look quite oversized and baggy on my short and shrinking body, and not necessarily in a good way.

So there scales, you can piss off, this is happening, whatever you say!

18pagesfrontandback · 28/06/2019 10:28

Thanks NotWatching you’re so right. And that’s a great visualisation I’d forgotten about, ‘‘tis so true.

Good luck this afternoon, I’d definitely be a mess too!

TheWayOfTheWorld · 28/06/2019 10:51

@18pagesfrontandback - 1) it is 1 1/2 lbs that have now gone 2) you can change shape without the scales showing much/anything. Have you been taking measurements etc? Anyway, from your last post it definitely sounds like you are shrinking!

@GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal - is this a 2 night run? I am going out for dinner tonight otherwise I would be tempted to track down some tickets, what a gorgeous venue for theatre!

As I am out for dinner tonight I am having brunch rather than breakfast and lunch - mushrooms and spinach cooked in butter with a creamy coffee. Maybe another creamy coffee this afternoon.

Planning on a glass or two of wine with dinner with halloumi fries and smoked haddock. Have been mulling over whether I will make an exception for pudding but I think I will be too full and will be able to swerve it...

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 28/06/2019 11:16

Yes, but we're back in St Albans on 1st and 2nd August, @TheWayOfTheWorld

Rshard · 28/06/2019 11:18

Sounds perfect greebol! I bet you looked fabulous.

Sounds so emotional, end of an era for you and dd notwatching

That’s more like it 18pages, super NSV!

Your meals sound delicious thewayoftheworld, I need to eat more fish!

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 28/06/2019 11:25

We had a reviewer in last night who, according to inside information, thought I was the best thing in the show. Grin

NigellaAwesome · 28/06/2019 12:48

Greebol that is fantastic!

Rshard · 28/06/2019 12:59

Wow greebol!

ShagMeRiggins · 28/06/2019 13:07

Greebo what a lovely report on your stage success! Thanks for filling us in, and I’m sure you looked the full Regency Hottie.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 28/06/2019 13:08

@GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal - I am on holiday then, darn! Need to look out for the review, amazing!

SittingontheSidelines · 28/06/2019 13:52

Bee wee without a doubt.
Ok I confess to missing the post with the shagmeriggins explanation. I have read numerous wrong interpretations. My own was a couple of pirates in the crows nest dtd. I gather that's wrong. Someone put me out of my misery please.
