Morning all!

We have four weeks left; time, still, to lose at least another 4lbs or so

Here's the Spreadsheet

Hopefully some good results to report!

Who knows, then go for it, you don't need to stick strictly but do what works for you. Good luck.

blacktea you sound like you need some Flowers!

Well done with dry Feb, by the way. When I attempted to go dry (ages ago) I lasted all of two weeks. #facepalm

Thanks shag

Dry January only lasted 2 weeks. Dh being away and now laid up with chest infection has helped this month. I've been in bed by 9 for the last 10 days to balance the early starts.

blacktea, hope you’re ok.

I use celeriac rice in a kind of paella whoknows, it keeps its bit and is really tasty. I’ve also had it with a sausage casserole in lieu of mash that dd and dh we’re having

I'm just feeling a bit hard done by and would love a break from being an adult. Nothing major and lots of people have a lot worse going on.

On a more positive note, I've just found some photos of me from last summer and I look a lot better now. I'm hanging on to that to help me get back on track.

@Wh0KnowsWhereTheT1meG0es - I read the threads but I don't follow bootcamp strictly, I do my own version of it which isn't as strict. I love the threads which is why I still hang about :)

I have to say I am struggling today. Maybe it is period related (due in a week or so) as I just want to Stuff.My.Face. It is made harder by the fact that I am WFH today (lot easier to manage when I am at work and not near to a source of food).

On my umpteenth glass of water and trying to Fight The Fuck-Its....

Thank you Biwi for the new thread, I’m glad I found the last one in time to join you all. I’ll have to weigh tomorrow as wasn’t able to this morning, but hopefully all good as I’ve been using the 3 day ubercamp as a guide. Congratulations to everyone on losses and nsv 😊. I can see my back fat looks smaller already! I was doing Exante vlcd the week before I found boot camp so was already in ketosis.

You can fight those fuck it’s thewayof!

NSV to report - currently wearing a size 12 hoody. Was so pleased when trying it on, I kept it on

Hello,

I am now into week three of my own low carb bootcamp. Please could I possibly be added to the spreadsheet?

I started on Saturday 3rd February weighing 75.5kg. I have lost 2.5kg in my first two weeks and lost 2 inches off my waist. I also run and I think today felt a little less like running through treacle as it has the last two weeks, so I think you do adapt to it.

I can honestly say that this is the only diet I've ever tried where I don't feel hungry all the time. I'm using myfitness pal to try and make sure I stuck to 20g carbs a day

Can I have some snack suggestions, please? Am planning, if the weather's ok, on doing an 15 mile walk on Saturday, ie bus to the nearest town then walking home. There's a Co in the town so can stock up there.

Does anyone have any bright ideas as to what I can buy? I usually opt for Babybel, bananas and chocolate, but can only eat the Babybel now. I really can't stomach nuts (unless they're in something, like fathead pizza). I could boil some eggs, but, unless I can find where my hens are laying I'm stuck with duck eggs, and I'm not so keen on them boiled.

So, can anyone think of anything I'd like and can take?

Time, would your duck eggs be better if made into a sausage & egg muffin (or bacon & egg)?

I make these often and they’re nice whether hot or cold. I use the Idiot Proof Diet recipe and adapt with various herbs and veg (shallots) for flavour or adapt with quantity of cheese to up the fat.

Another possibility—could you carry a simple tuna mayonnaise with spinach salad with you? A small portion, in a small square Tupperware dish, with fork or spoon. I actually add olive oil and salt to tuna/mayo with salad (because I’m decadent like that). Wink

time did you mean there’s a coop in the town you’re walking from? If so, my local coop sell little snack pack of chicken chunks, what about those?

celery sticks halved with a pot of Philly or pate makes a great snack to go. Or you could make your own nuts plopped into melted 85% choc nuggets.

Well done everyone on the losses, nsv and those koko.

2 lb off for me this week. I'm so pleased and feeling good. If I could shift another 5lbs by the end of boot camp I'll be very happy.

Am starting to think about maintenance now as well as on the past I've gradually crept back to full on carbs and the weight went back on. Determined this time to stick with it and lay off the junk for good.

Time: pork scratchings?

Although I have had a whole bag today and am really disappointed in myself. I’m tired and struggling with my toddler and it’s that that got me fat in the first place... at least I ignored all of the carbs in the house though.

Some great ideas, thanks!

Remembered I’d bought DP a camping knife, fork, spoon thing so could take that and buy a yoghurt. And chicken pieces and pork scratchings. Salad's an idea, but I have one every day for lunch and usually need a change come Saturday. I found the Diet Doctor pierogi recipe yesterday. I suspect it’s not great cold, though. Fathead pizza, on the other hand...

Thanks for the new thread BIWI and well done on all the losses and NSVs

I've had a combination of carb creep last week (nuts, 85% mini choc bar every night) and then went right off piste this weekend. Only positive is that I'm still dry so far this month. I've put on a few pounds (it's on the SSoF but I'm too embarrassed to write it down here...) but today has been good except for water but I can fit some more in before bed.

Off to Zumba to try and burn a few weekend cals...

Evening. Didn't weigh myself this morning in the rush to get the dogs to the kennels and myself to the dentist, where I've spent the day getting new teeth (veneers on the front, plus some old fillings replaced with white ones). Will weigh in tomorrow, but unless there's been a miracle since yesterday, it's unlikely to be anything I want to see. Despite sticking rigorously with it, and after last Monday's whoosh, 4lbs went on on Wednesday and has stubbornly refused to budge. I haven't changed anything over the last couple of weeks, so I don't know where I'm going wrong. I'm refusing to quit, though.

Food today:

B - mushroom omelette
D - Heck chicken sausages & celeriac chips

Still, my smile is fab, so it's not all bad Grin < like this, but better. Well worth six hours in the dentist's chair.
