Evening all, great to hear all the losses, very inspiring. ASD what you've achieved is nothing short of phenomenal, you must be so proud of yourself 🙌
Today's food:
B: absolutely delicious, a big thanks to the poster who suggested frying some chopped nuts in butter and having with berries and yogurt, it was just what I needed and bloody lush
L: chicken with mushrooms and cabbage
D: Nando's. Half chicken with roasted veg
S: pork scratchings
W: loads

Good luck for the morning everyone 🤞

A NSF (yes, F for failure) here. My bum is disproportionately large. Always has been (and so has DD's from the age of about 5). My legs go up and then go out a couple of inches and around my bum. I have just noticed that my legs go up, then in a bit and then out ... so my bum now sticks out more than it did previously. Sigh. I guess I just have to continue until my bum shrinks too.

My dad doesn't quite get HFLC. He gets that I'm not having the rice or potatoes he's serving up (and is making extra veg for me) and is buying - at enormous expense - raspberries and blueberries (and this evening blitzed frozen strawberries stirred through whipped cream) which he then sprinkles generously with sugar in the serving bowl HmmConfused

Still, he's trying. Smile

abbey definitely keep us posted. I've read up on fat freezing and could definitely do with some help with my mum tum/c-section apron...

ASD 120lbs is amazing!

Love seeing all these graphs - here's mine which shows the rollercoaster effect as well. It is so interesting.

Today's food:
B: fried mushrooms and a creamy coffee
L: chicken with French beans and celeriac rice; thick cream raspberries and some dark choc shaving
D: tomato and mozzarella salad; couple squares dark chocolate
W: 2.5 litres

120lbs, god, well done. That's huge commitment. I'm also curious, you must look really different, how does that feel?

ASD - that's amazing. What a transformation. Are you still recognisable?

I am definitely hoping for an SV tomorrow. I know things hang on more than that but, having stuck around the same weight for the past month, I would really like a change. I have had a bowl of sprouts and butter for breakfast for the last few days which I think shows dedication to the cause and have tried to add an extra litre to my water intake. I'm fascinated at how quickly my body has adapted to having 2.5l or more of water a day. For the first few weeks, I had really pale urine all the time; now it's back to straw coloured.
I do have an SV to report which is that I am back to taking my jeans up & down without having to undo the buttons.

BIWI Blush I will definitely make sure I credit the bootcamp threads next time. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a way to edit posts on twitter (I don’t really understand how to use it very well!).

That's fantastic, @ASDismynormality - I hope you'll give the Bootcamp threads a credit, on the Diet Doctor site though! We give him a lot of recognition, it would be lovely to think that someone outside of MN recognises what goes on, on the Bootcamp threads

I tweeted earlier about having lost 120lbs and the diet doctor retweeted it which is very exciting as his website is what started me on LCHF. A couple of weeks after starting this WOE I found these bootcamp threads which have given such amazing support and have kept me going with it.

abbey you might be able to find the article on line or I will put a photo on here of the bit about it.

Ooh Abbey that looks interesting.

DH got a muscle stimulator to keep his calf muscles going whilst he is recovering from the ruptured achilles, and I am tempted to try it on my abs. According to his consultant, this is the way gyms are going to go in the future - everyone wearing stim vests whilst they work out to increase the effectiveness.

I've noticed that my eyelids are suddenly baggy, with a fold of skin obscuring my top lid (one more than the other). I think it may be down to losing weight around my face, and DH confirmed that I now have 'old lady eyelids'. He's honest to a fault I'm only 47. I've always said that I would be very open to having surgery on my face if / when I needed it, and have started to look into eyelid reduction surgery. I think I probably need to give my skin a chance to catch up with my weight loss before doing anything drastic.

Anyhoo, food for today:
B: fried egg, mushrooms & slice of bacon
L: roast chicken, goats cheese, coleslaw
D: ate out - chicken caesar salad without croutons, roast lamb with green veg. Don't know what was in the gravy.
S: 10 macadamias, 2 x coffees with AM&C

Good luck for tomorrow everyone. I'm going to go with today's weight, unless of course tomorrow is lower Grin

Oh, I wish I'd got the Times today now! I read about it ages ago in a magazine and there's a lady who is highly recommended locally. I didn't think it was too expensive, actually - it's about £200 for stomach - well, yes, it's not cheap, but quite honestly if it works and zaps my flabby mum-tum*, it'll be worth every penny. I'm getting it done next weekend, so I'll report back afterwards.

*my youngest is nearly 23, so it probably isn't fair to blame it on the offspring any more, if I'm honest

BlackMozart · 25/02/2018 19:21

abbey44 I read about that treatment in the Sunday Times Style mag today. Although expensive it does sound like it can be very effective, and it helps with specific areas as you say. Back of my arms might be the place when I finally if ever get this weight off!
Dinner today was roast chicken, lots of green veg and although I did have a bit of gravy made with flour, I resisted stuffing and potatoes. Coffee and some dark choc to come plus I am drinking my water.

Still no change on the scales, really dispiriting ☹️

I’ve had a horrid sore throat since Friday morning and have hardly eaten anything though. Back on it tomorrow hopefully.

B: coffee with cream
L: 2 sausages, shallot, mushrooms, tin tons and spinach, baked with 2 eggs
D: tuna steak, kale sautéed in butter, hm ratatouille. I then had what must be my first pudding of the year! Made the almond sponge from IPD (but no sweetener) with grated apple and cinnamon in it. It was quite nice warm with cream but I'm not really bothered to be honest! DH enjoyed it and it was v quick.

Seeing all these graphs makes me wish I'd stuck with it in May '17 when I first tried bootcamp. Instead I'm the same weight.
I'd nearly be at goal dammit!

cherries - I've got that too, so I'm having the wobbly stuff on my tum frozen next week. Cryolipolosys, I think it's called (spelling might be a bit wrong) and I'm told it will spot reduce that area, though it might take a couple of weeks to see the full difference. The fat cells are zapped with something that freezes them, which kills them off, and they're then flushed out of the body, which is why the final results don't show immediately. I think I'm looking forward to it.... I'll let you know if it works Smile

I saw 163 this morning, for the third time this week. 159 and a 'healthy' BMI is within sight. But I still seem to have an awful lot of flab on my belly. So once I get there, my target is def going to have to be revised. I wish I could choose now where it come off - my arse has disappeared in side view (still plenty from the back) and my face is getting quite thin. But my belly and waist, while MUCH smaller than they were, are still holding a lot of fat.

So I can see it's working, it's just a much flatter curve now. Damn.
