Evening all!

Just getting this out there, so that everyone knows where to go/what to do in the morning.

Here's the link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I'd like to say a massive thank you and Flowers to Sayrra and Wombattoo who set this up and maintain it for us all.

PLEASE don't touch anything other than the cell where you input your weight.

If your name isn't on the list, just add it to the bottom, and it will be magically re-alphabetised to include you.

It's called the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness because of all the information and resources that are available to us. Look at the tabs at the bottom - the rules are there, along with the veg counter, and all manner of resources for you to read up more about low carbing.

If you can't access it, or can't input your weight, just add your weight to the chat thread, and someone will do it for you. (I believe it's difficult to do it from your phone).

But more than anything else, a massive good luck to you all!

All I can say to you is follow the rules!

It does work, but only if you follow them.

Good luck everyone.

Thanks BIWI. Raring to go tomorrow, having messed up all weekend!

SayrraT · 05/02/2017 20:33

Woohoo! Ready to get started, I'm going to do the two weeks of BC even though I've been on BC for a while now. I'll need to remember no nuts!

PacificDogwod · 05/02/2017 20:34

OMG, BIWI, you are SO organised!
And professional!!

I am very impressed, I had heard of your Bootcamps, but never looked in.

Anyway, I'm not in the market for losing weight, just want to wish everybody good luck.

HFLC does work, is delicious, v fulfilling and totally sustainable. I've been doing it for just under 2 years and cannot see myself going back to 'normal' (far too carb-heavy for my lifestyle) eating.

Smile
SayrraT · 05/02/2017 20:41

If anyone is on android then you can download the "sheets" app from Google play then you should be able to edit from your phone. I've just done it and managed to add my weight.

Almahart · 05/02/2017 20:43

Excited! Have scrambled eggs from work café planned for tomorrow morning and then whatever carbfree salad they have. Am totally ready to have a bit of discipline again

SayrraT · 05/02/2017 20:49

My plan for tomorrow is:

B: coffee with cream, egg in a cup
L: smoked salmon, salad, cucumber then FF yog with vanilla (Tesco now sell a Greek Yogurt which is 3.8g carb and 9g fat per 100g)
S: wee cheese block
D: lamb chop, celeriac mash, asparagus, broccoli

feekerry · 05/02/2017 20:58

All good to go for tomorrow. Will weigh in tomorrow when i get a min.
Was mulling over something folks and want to see what you think....
So I often buy quite a bit of fresh chicken fillets/fish fillets weekly and freeze them. I then defrost as required and cook next day.
I see a lot of pre frozen fish and chicken in the supermarkets. I am put off as they look plastic.
But technically is there any difference between the fresh stuff I buy then freeze and defrost to the pre frozen stuff??
I ask as the frozen stuff is much cheaper.

dementedma · 05/02/2017 21:02

I really cannot face breakfast so alwyas end up with taking a hard boiled egg to work and eating that when I get there. Any other ideas of things I can take with me and eat at my desk?

Aderyn2016 · 05/02/2017 21:14

Sayyra, how does the google sheets thing work?

HoneyDragon · 05/02/2017 21:16

BIWI does low carb still mean no sugar? Because I don't think I'm there yet.

SayrraT · 05/02/2017 21:22

What do you mean Aderyn?

Callmesausage · 05/02/2017 21:25

Raring to go tomorrow, thanks For organising and good luck everyone

Aderyn2016 · 05/02/2017 21:25

I think I may have figured it out. I don't really use my phone for anything other than looking at mn, so don't always get how it works Blush

feekerry · 05/02/2017 21:27

dementedma I'm the same.
I'm sure there are some breakfast muffin things that you can make that I feel may be suitable. I could pick at a muffin at my desk

SayrraT · 05/02/2017 21:31

If you've got a laptop/desktop then you can click on the link in the op to access the spreadsheet that way. On previous BCs people have found it difficult to edit the spreadsheet on phones/tablets. This app seems to help so that's why I suggested it.

Flisspaps · 05/02/2017 21:35

Honey yes - no sugar OR sweeteners. Not even honey/agave/Cinderella etc.

I've done my meal plan for the week. Tomorrow is:

Breakfast - eggs and bacon with mayonnaise
Lunch - roast chicken, sour cream, guacamole, cheese and Greek yoghurt with double cream
Tea - jalapeño popper pork with salad.

I've just been reading the comments on Amazon for Tom Kerridge's new book and now I want to slap some people for bleating on about the salt and fat content of his recipes - they're low carb; they're MEANT to be high in fat!

BIWI · 05/02/2017 21:35

Sorry HoneyDragon yes, it really does mean no sugar!

We'll wait for you though ...

PacificDogwood thank you very much!

I have wombattoo and SayrraT to thank for the spreadsheet and general curation of Good and Helpful Information.

I know you're a low carb fan, from everything you've posted, so thank you!

Could you not come up with some kind of low carb/high fat sugar as DragonFood??!

BIWI · 05/02/2017 21:38

feekerry there shouldn't really be any difference between fresh and frozen, as long as it was good quality when it was fresh!

And if it's convenient, then who are we to complain?! Just one thing though, chicken fillets and fish (assuming it's white fish?) are likely to be low fat, so please make sure you add plenty of fat to your meals.

BIWI · 05/02/2017 21:39

deementedma - if a boiled egg is all you can face, then that's fine. As long as you have something.

One of the books I've recently read has changed my thinking about breakfast, by the way. However, I'm still sticking to rule one, which is that you must eat breakfast. Because I don't want people to get hungry in the first two weeks, which is likely to lead to temptation to eat.

But it's a really interesting book Breakfast is a dangerous meal

And I'm thinking of amending the rules of Bootcamp Light to say that we shouldn't eat breakfast.

However, for now, (and especially for weeks 1 & 2), breakfast is definitely one of the rules!

SayrraT · 05/02/2017 21:50

I mostly don't eat breakfast unless I'm actually hungry hungry in the morning.

BIWI · 05/02/2017 21:51

I think that's probably the way to go, Sayrra.

OP posts:
feekerry · 05/02/2017 21:57

Same here. Yep if i am hungry I will eat breakfast but not often. When doing bc I'd much rather grab a few olives or something mid morning if need be
