Evening all!

Just getting this out there, so that everyone knows where to go/what to do in the morning.

Here's the link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I'd like to say a massive thank you and Flowers to Sayrra and Wombattoo who set this up and maintain it for us all.

PLEASE don't touch anything other than the cell where you input your weight.

If your name isn't on the list, just add it to the bottom, and it will be magically re-alphabetised to include you.

It's called the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness because of all the information and resources that are available to us. Look at the tabs at the bottom - the rules are there, along with the veg counter, and all manner of resources for you to read up more about low carbing.

If you can't access it, or can't input your weight, just add your weight to the chat thread, and someone will do it for you. (I believe it's difficult to do it from your phone).

But more than anything else, a massive good luck to you all!

All I can say to you is follow the rules!

It does work, but only if you follow them.

Good luck everyone.

Morning all! Another big thanks to BIWI, wombattoo and SayrraT for getting us all organised.

I've weighed in and am frankly shocked at the amout I've put on recently so that's given me another spur of motivation to keep on the straight and narrow.

Scrambled eggs with loads of butter, tea with the tiniest bit of milk and a pint of water for breakfast. Green tea for the rest of the day now, lets do this!

ThisProductContainsBatteries · 06/02/2017 09:16

Hi everyone. Just wanted to place mark. Have 2 st of baby weight to shift.

Breakfast today was avocado mashed with feta and two hard boiled eggs.

Lunch will be tuna salad (tuna, lettuce, tomatoes, olives with lemon juice and olive oil dressing)

Dinner home made beef burgers with fried courgettes and buttery spinach

I'm hoping not to snack. I've been doing my 2L of water a day for a couple of weeks now and have replied milk in my tea with soya milk (tried almond milk first but I can't stand it) so that's something.

Does that sound ok?

mistywillow17 · 06/02/2017 09:22

Morning all! Buttery scrambled eggs and a slice of baked ham for breakfast this morning, and now having a cup of gingerbread green tea which tastes remarkably lovely. I'm not usually a fan of green tea at all, but this one doesn't taste like bitter dishwater.

I had a test of willpower first thing this morning - I arrived at work to find a giftwrapped bundle of scrummy chocolates on my desk, but luckily I'm full of motivation and they have been dutifully hidden away to give to DH tonight.

Hope everyone has a good first day

Deadnettle · 06/02/2017 09:31

Morning!

I weigh nearly a stone more than I did when I last finished bootcamp (on week 4 or 5 because I had a hysterectomy)! No wonder I feel so fat.

I haven't had breakfast yet as I've only just got hungry enough to eat but I'm going to have scrambled eggs on spinach leaves.

lisbapalea · 06/02/2017 09:31

Started LC (again!) last wednesday but annoyingly I hadn't lost anything when I weighed in today, but I am not going to let that get me down!

Spreadsheet updated and willpower is set to high.

Good luck everyone!

MyShinyThing · 06/02/2017 09:44

I forgot to weigh myself this morning so good start! I will weigh tomorrow & update the spreadsheet then.

Breakfast was BPC & spinach with olive oil (shoppings being delivered tonight)!
Lunch: cauliflower & broccoli soup.
Dinner: scrambled eggs, celeriac rosti & buttery spinach.

Now I must drink the water! The water is always the hardest thing for me.

Aderyn2016 · 06/02/2017 09:58

Had forgotten that we can eat coleslaw, so that has cheered me right up Smile

Bf was 2 hard boiled eggs with mayo, mushrooms and a tomato fried in butter. 1 coffee with a little bit of cream.

I do have belly of pork slices and nice burgers in the house and veg/salad for later.

BIWI · 06/02/2017 10:03

Just be careful with the coleslaw Aderyn - if it's a shop-bought one check the carb counts as they vary hugely.

If you're a coleslaw fan, there's a recipe on the spreadsheet (check out the ubercamp part).

Weighed in and it's in the spreadsheet

Today

Bfast - two large eggs scrambled in butler with some cooked ham on top

Lunch - leftovers from last nights low carb beef dinner

Tea - leftover beef in a home made ragu sauce with spiralized veg

Drinks - green tea and water

Aderyn2016 · 06/02/2017 10:06

Thanks BIWI. Will have a look and make my own.

Lucy7400 · 06/02/2017 10:29

I have planned my food for the next few days and ready to go. Today, I have had mushrooms fried in butter with a 2 egg omelette. Lunch will be chicken salad and dinner is salmon and veg. Good luck everyone.

feekerry · 06/02/2017 10:44

TheRippedOutPage be careful with peanut butter. Can be carby. No nuts first 2 weeks either. Some peanut butters are higher than others x

Veryflummoxed · 06/02/2017 11:10

BIWI, Wombattoo and SayrraT. Thank you so much for being here again for us.

Weighing in at 191 and want to see that middle number changed to a 7 by the end of bootcamp.

Breakfast today was ff total Greek yogurt and a soft boiled egg with butter in. I've had a coffee with cream mid morning. I have hard boiled eggs and cooked chicken drumsticks and wings in the fridge for lunches with salad. Not sure what dinner will be yet (dh cooking). I've downed my first litre of water and I WILL drink three and a half litres of water a day and stop pissing about. (Oh, that last sentence could have been better phrased).

Good luck all.

Could you add me please

Veryflummoxed 191

CaptainBraandPants · 06/02/2017 11:30

I've added you Veryflummoxed

Thank you again BIWI et al for all the hard work you put into this.
I have been LCHFing since 1st January and have lost 14.8lbs, so very pleased. Only lost 0.8lbs this week, but as it was my week 5, I'm pleased with that.
I'm another that doesn't have breakfast, in fact when I am LCing, I seem to naturally fall into a 16/8 fasting pattern which seems to work.
Trouble is, when I fall off the wagon, I tend to do it spectacularly. So, y aim for BC is to persevere until the end. Have a weekend away and a weeks holiday to negotiate between now and the end, oh, and a birthday, so i know it won't be easy. I think i might need your big stick BIWI Grin

Good luck everyone.

PippilottaViktualia · 06/02/2017 11:33

Good morning everyone. Very much luck to everyone this bootcamp!

So, I'm not not joining this bootcamp. I'm 150lbs. Which actually at my height is a little too much low (bmi less than 19) I'm adding in more carbs and seeing where my level is. I think this is the right thing to do?

But for anyone just starting out on this bootcamp I just wanted to say, last year I started I was 19st 12lbs now I'm sitting at work in in a size 8 dress and it's kind of loose Shock so it can be done! I've a little bit of loose skin mainly around my tummy, but it's not as bad as you would think.

So anyway, it's not all about me is it Grin but I just want to say good luck to everyone Flowers I hope you are all massive losers.

OwlInAnOakTree · 06/02/2017 11:42

That's amazing Pippilotta, well done. Smile

nextchapterplease · 06/02/2017 11:46

Hello all - please can I be a late joiner ?
I have LCd for a few years now and lost approx 2 stone in total on previous boot camps ( with a bit of yo yo ing in between!)
I am desperate for this as I have gradually slipped further away from the path of righteousness and have crept back up and up after actually staying at a consistent weight for a good while ( a big achievement for me!)
I feel so much better when I am LC.
I can't access the spreadsheet on my iPad at the moment but weighed in at 156lbs this morning .
I haven't shopped yet but will be ok as DH is away so I will just eat what I have in the fridge that is within The Rules!

B - 2 scrambled eggs and a few crispy bacon rashers
L- salad with avocado and feta
D - not sure yet

thanks for this BIWI , Wombatoo and SayrraT - feel really motivated !

ASDismynormality · 06/02/2017 11:47

Wow Pippilotta, that's amazing!

Can someone please add 291 Blush as my weight, can't work out how to do it myself. Thanks.

I've already been low carbing since mid Jan so have got over the hardest part. Have stuck to it better than I thought I would!

nextchapterplease · 06/02/2017 11:50

Wow Pippilotta that is an amazing achievement !!

To those who eat total ff Greek yoghurt at Breakfast - can I ask roughly how much you eat ? I find I need quite a lot to fill me up compared to eggs and if I can't sweeten it it's quite hard work to get, through it .. I know this WOE isn't about weighing and measuring but am just curious as it's a good option when time is short especially ...

Primitivo · 06/02/2017 11:56

Hiya bootcampers! I started BCing last week, and have lost a bit already, but not the spectacular whoosh I normally get at the start of BC. Still, my jeans are already fitting better and my tummy definitely feels less bloaty. I seem to have spent the last few years battling with the same stone, so I'm really hoping to stick to these ten weeks and shift it once and for all. We're planning to leave the U.K. after summer and head on a long trip to Oz, so trying to prepare my body for a life of bikini wearing Confused.
Thanks to BIWI and clan for all our support.

Please can someone add my weight to the SoF? 147.8. Thank you!

Almahart · 06/02/2017 11:56

Had scrambled eggs and mushrooms for breakfast and am still feeling really stuffed! I've lost 4ib since Christmas on bcl but really want to lose another 11 to get me down to where I was at end of last bc I did.

playmobilpeacock · 06/02/2017 11:57

Are Jerusalem artichokes ok or too many carbs?

I have some from my veg box and I've a lovely recipe for cream of artichoke soup.

BursarsFrogs · 06/02/2017 12:01

That's amazing Pippilotta!

My (early) breakfast was a feta and spinach omelette and black coffee.
For lunch I'll have an avocado, spinach and almond milk smoothie soon, and green tea.
In the afternoon I might snack on olives, if I feel like it.
Dinner will be a casserole of chicken thighs, chorizo, shallots, peppers, tomato etc.

sheepysheep · 06/02/2017 12:08

Wow pip that's amazing, well done!

We live in the arse end of nowhere and have been waiting for satellite broadband for months .... I'm not working this week so no internet access on the laptop just s-l-o-o-o-w iFool internet access if I hang out of an upstairs window.... could someone please add me to the SoF at 146? Thanks Smile

BursarsFrogs · 06/02/2017 12:14

playmobilpeacock MFP seems to say Jerusalem artichokes have c. 15-17g carbs per 100g, which does sound quite lot.
