Welcome everyone!

Here's the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness that the lovely Sayra creates and cares for. Come and confess all.

If you prefer, you can use the individual Weight Tracker, provided by MNHQ, which will open (I hope) tomorrow morning.

Please make sure that you know the rules, and that you know about the allowed veg - look at the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet - and think about printing them off so that you have them to hand

If you have any questions, obviously you can ask them here, but there's also a specific questions thread because the chat threads can move so quickly that questions can get missed.

Unfortunately I'm working pretty full on for the next three days, so won't be around very much - I'll try and check in as much as I can, but in reality I'm not going to be around very much until Thursday - apologies in advance.

Very good luck to you all

Thanks Lex . I'm not sure, I think I am hungry, but just a little snack doesn't do. I basically had all those snacks in one sitting ! Blush

Hot Marmite drink with butter sounds lush!

ApplySomePressure · 13/05/2015 20:21

Oooo just discovered on MFP that you can adjust the macros so that you can have a lower carb %

ijustwanttobeme · 13/05/2015 20:29

apply Am curious, how much did you reduce it to?

B: Coffee
L: Ham salad
D: Chicken caesar salad
S: ahem, a couple or four of biscuits.

Hangs head in shame, BIWI can beat me with her big stick.

ApplySomePressure · 13/05/2015 20:31

I put it down to 20g. I seem to be ok around this number.

ApplySomePressure · 13/05/2015 20:32

It was originally on 169gConfusedBlush

ApplySomePressure · 13/05/2015 20:42

Maybe even 20g is too high? That's all from veg though

Username12345 · 13/05/2015 21:05

B: 3 boiled eggs.

L: Greek yog w/ vanilla extract a cube of cheese and a cup of green tea.

D: Curried lamb (homemade) w/ greens

2L of water so far.

cathyandclaire · 13/05/2015 21:07

I've followed the rules ( with maybe a little too much milk in coffees) and just put my food into MFP out of interest and I'm somewhere between 20 and 30g of carbs and I must say I'm smelling shockingly of ketones tonight, it's a good thing DH is away!
I've drunk loads of water but I can still sniff myself. hoping for great things on the scales :)

ApplySomePressure · 13/05/2015 21:25

Cathy what does ketosis smell like?

Preminstreltension · 13/05/2015 21:27

B: FF greek yogurt + cream cheese
L: grilled steak (restaurant) and a nibble of veg (it was all root veg so not suitable)
D: watercress, avocado and chicken breast with huge amount of mayo.

Loads of water. Very cold tonight. Is that good?

minibmw2010 · 13/05/2015 21:29

Shockingly dreadful day with very wilful 4 year old DS today has resulted in 2 large glasses of wine, although my food has been very good and following LC. Hopefully the wine won't do too much damage.

readyforno2 · 13/05/2015 22:04

Pretty good day food wise.
B ham wrapped around Philly and butter
L cauliflower and broccoli soup with cream
D (late dinner as I was at the trainer) mashed swede with loads of butter and a splash of cream
S ff yog with double cream

Nowhere near as much water today. Six pints.
1 coffee with cream
2 tea with cream

Really suffering with sciatica. Anyone know a quick fix?

cathyandclaire · 13/05/2015 22:06

It's a kind of sweet sickly smell, when I've smelled it on others it's been like pear drops or nail varnish remover ( you may have sniffed it on someone's breath the morning after a heavy night of drinking) but on myself it's not as specific as that.

ewanhoozami · 13/05/2015 22:07

apply levels of tolerable carbs can vary from person to person but 20-40g is a good target for bootcamp. Anything below 20g probably means that you're not eating enough veg.

I've not managed to get MFP to stop being obsessed with calories. Even when I put the carb macros down it barks at me about sodding calories.

I'm hanging on in there. Kept forgetting to drink enough water today, but food has been OK.

Had a bit of a disaster with a bullet proof tea. Somehow managed to spill it into my handbag - what a mess, it took ages to clean up. Handbag lining now smells of coconut, and my phone is currently drying out in a tupperware box covered in rice. Hope to goodness it fixes it.

trashcanjunkie · 13/05/2015 22:39

Blimey, dinner is very late tonight. We still haven't eaten! Thank you for the lovely foot based sympathies. It's currently up on the sofa. We went to the indoor climbing wall today. Well bouldering actually but whatever. I absolutely love it. Before my foot really fucked up I used to go once or twice a week, and found it excellent for toning and strength. The place has a really nice atmosphere, with actual world class climbers there, just happy to chat, and I learned so much just watching people. It's been so fucking bastard frustrating going back there and being lots heavier, but unable to really push myself physically due to the foot. So anyway, Dp is now hooked, and we bought a membership which means we can climb anytime without having to pay entry. We've been four times in the last week and a half, and the first time, I could barely manage a single problem. Tonight I managed three of the easiest and then a next level up! Still piss easy climbing in the grand scheme of things, but hey ho.

dillite · 13/05/2015 22:45

mummy - a lot of processed meat in your diet. Remember we're trying to avoid that as much as possible
