Jury is out on stopping over now - apparently the poor young soldier is or was a friend of XH's (the chap who was killed whilst home in yorkshire) so I'm not 100% sure he's coming down for the full weekend. have mum on standby for the day on Sat so at worst a day.

scl - the bed thing is nonsense. They can claim on insurance (either the school or the hotel - but certainly you shouldnt be paying).

on the subject of school trips, got a letter for next years ski trip (when DS1 will be in year 8) - £750!! I said I could take all 3 of us for that so he's not going. have told him to join the choir instead as they get to go abroad 9for free) to choral competitions

As for the teacher, v unprofessional but sadly it doesnt surprise me if DS1's school is anything to go by. I have major issues with them, but feel if I start complaining I will never stop!....

i think belle is more than a little excited. soldier just phoned when i was on msn and i think she turned offline so quick she has cramp in her fingers from clicking the mouse

things are fine here. just taking full advantage of ex taking dc before he's off again. seen rochester again. there's talks of another wacky date destination this wkd.

had some words with forces. truth stings so he's off with his tail hiding. i'm not particularly bothered tbh. was very and at what he said.

currently trying to type up a paper. hoping to have some time free once i manage to get it submitted by next week at latest.

SCL - there is no way you or exh should pay for that bed. And as for threatening your ds with no more trips if he doesn't , what the hell are they playing at. And as for the other matter of 'lunatic.' You need to see the head teacher and sort them out.

Sponge - DS is Y9 now and hasn't been on a skiing trip and dd has, because of this I said he could go next year. The first year, when he heard how much it was he didn't even bring the letter home he was so disgusted. Bless him. But I'm unlikely to ever take him, so the school can .

Juicy - sorry chick, he's had signal y'day & the day before after 5 days pretty much with it being very hit & miss so not much contact which has been really hard to deal with, but ho hum. happy happy happy. so anyhow getting back to this mr rochester - I like the sound of him. and forces - well - he had his chance.

mornign everyone - i am supposed to be catching up with you lotstudying today, with the ou, it's a level one course about darwin and evolution, ithought it sounded interesting but it's much harder than i thought

scl - the school is definitely out of order, i think if i was in that position i would definitely go to the headteacher, how very dare they? i also agree with belle, go to the governors (sp?) as well. could you speak to cab advisor with regards to the bed? i think in this instance, the school are trying to blame your son rather than accept responsibility for what could've happened - your son being injured as a result (which, thankfully, he wasn't?).

belle - no dates and no emails, though i apparently have two flirts on zoosk, am just wondering whether it's worth having a look or not! it does sound as though all is going well for betty and the boilerman

Have been to Paris on business - lovely! But finding it hard to keep up with everything going on here!

My travelling date has finally got back from China yesterday and wants to go out again, so we are talking later to try and arrange a date - probably sometime in 2011 at this rate!!! But he is very fit so I might let him off

Have another potential date who has also sent me a message this morning asking if I am still away, he at least lives nearby so will def meet him.

And this weekend I have a housefull, 8 adults and 6 small boys, should be a blast!

as for me be still my beating heart, am inlibrary at mo and there's a nice guy who works there, have liked him before but i had to ask his help about putting a map in a document i needed to print. ahem, although the blood test results came back as normal they are all over the place now he is wearing some very niec aftershave

today has been busy, ds2 has a throat and chest infection so on anti biotics, dp is starting to feel better though

i have had really stern words with someone , who i found out has used my address to get registered at the local gp, plus called both gp and pct to tell them the person in question does NOT live here, never has, and i havent in fact had any contact with him for a year

he probably wished i hadnt contacted him today as well now

made a bloody lovely home made sweet and sour chicken with rice, for dinner, though

there isnt really anything to report, i am just place marking

(off to plant herbs and chillies now)

Well I finally got a call from my travelling date last night. Chatted for about an hour, hugely entertaining BUT we still cant find a date we are both around in the next week!!?? Mostly my fault this time as I am working away a lot ATM. I give up.. You really cant date someone unless you are both in the same country at the same time Still he makes me laugh, but probably will never get further than telephone sex

Lengthy texts still with Mr Blue. Its going at a very fast pace, don't know if that's 'cos the last one was so bloody slow, Mr Blue just wants a shag, or its a forces thing. He's not shagging anyone else at the mo as he's constantly texting me! I'm away for half term and he's arranged to see me the Fri, Sat, Sun I get back - we'll see. He's also asked me to keep the weekend of the summer ball free. We'll see.

I'm trying my very best to keep off plenty of fish 'cos he's still going on. Although I made it clear I'm not into sharing and he said neither is he. We'll see.

well all men (exs) are bastards. and should all go to hell - least that's my thought today,. still here, ex still in work (an hour plus away dep on traffic!!!) and I need to drive 1.5 hours to meet soldier. to say i'm unimpressed is an understatement and also soldier's got the hump as he obv nows what ex is telling me & i'm relaying is total crap. not happy at all. . will be about 10pm by the time I get there tonight if at all.

Ex has excelled self tonight. has taken yet more stuff out the house, upset DS2 - and taken him with him despite me saying not to - and has the front door key though he says he hasnt. Have had enough and phoned police. They are sending someone round. Cant keep on with him doing as he pleases.

Feel a bit sick now. Has been about 5 years since I last had to phone the police about him. Has brought back unpleasant memories
