Has no-one beaten me to it yet?

Juicy sounding good.

WG old friend is worth seeing again.

Second not to arrange a meet up without me. Maybe down south in May.

eve -whats happening with salesman

Remotew · 18/01/2010 18:59

Nothing atm. Hoping he will beg to see me again. I prefer weekends only.

Sorry if I have worded our thread wrong but we know who we are.

Just marking my place.

They just had a feature on local TV programme about cougars and cubs. Older women dating younger men.

Dating events looked a bit odd but the women looked gorgeous.

Janos · 18/01/2010 20:09

Also marking place.

Still feeling a bit meh about my date. Venue not decided yet! Think I'll keep it casual.

Remotew · 18/01/2010 20:26

Janos, good idea to keep it casual. Meet for a drink only.

Cougars and cubs, lol. I'm off younger men atm. Well until I get blanked by the older salesman.

eve - yes my instinct is keep it casual and see what happens. He looks ok on paper so to speak but in the flesh it can all be very different.

I must admit to hating the word 'cougars' in this context btw... It's just yuck and reminds me of tacky porno films!

Not that I watch any particularly but, you know....

kdk · 18/01/2010 20:52

Never understood the cougars bit (not the older women/younger men bit - have to say it's not for me probably coz my x was 10 years younger!) - but the terminology all sounds horribly predatory to me - if they are suggesting it isn't just based on mutual attraction/respect why not call a spade a spade and call them sex mummies or sugar mummies? Works okay for the older man/younger woman scenario.

Janos · 18/01/2010 20:56

It's kind of an Americanism kdk. I think. Along with 'MILF'. A phrase frequently used by callow youths.

kdk · 18/01/2010 20:57

x-post with you janos!

kdk · 18/01/2010 20:58

Just plucked up the courage to message someone off soulmates to get the message
"thank you for the complement.

I have just met someone on here and would like to see how it goes, not sure which way the wind blows, but, would like to explore it further.

I wish you all the best and I hope it goes well for you on here....I have no doubt it will :-)"

Gah, too late again!

meltedchocolate · 18/01/2010 21:01

So think is a thread for the singe ladies who are dating etc? basically about men?

Sounds like a lovely idea

meltedchocolate · 18/01/2010 21:01

**this not think

Remotew · 18/01/2010 21:08

Yes meltedchocolate it is mainly about dating not necessarily internet dating, been going a while but new poster welcome, especially as some of the lucky ones have now met fit, interesting and available men.

We do chat about other stuff but not in detail.

OP posts:
meltedchocolate · 18/01/2010 21:13

I would join in but am not looking atm.. Dont suppose you do whinging about crap men that have been in your life, messed it up and walked out?

kdk · 18/01/2010 21:16

There's all sorts here so pour yourself a drink, pull up a pew and make yourself comfortable ...

Remotew · 18/01/2010 21:23

Yep there is a bit of that going on.

Think/hope most of us are over exes and definitely looking even if it's just at the checkout in the supermarket.

OP posts:
Remotew · 18/01/2010 21:24

One thing I will add though is that non of us are desperate. lol

OP posts:
Janos · 18/01/2010 21:28

Go for it meltedchocolate. I think we've all been there

kdk · 18/01/2010 21:31

Speak for yourself eve - I am [sobs into glass of water as off alcohol at the moment due to humungous post xmas bloat)

Janos · 18/01/2010 21:37

Ha kdk ...think I am winning on the post Xmas bloat.

kdk · 18/01/2010 21:44

Ah but my post-xmas bloat is on top of the stop smoking and pile on two stone bloat ...

God, look at us, playing mine's bigger than yours!

Janos · 18/01/2010 21:56

I put on weight when I stopped smoking too. Tis tough.

Now this is making me want a drink of Baileys.....

kdk · 18/01/2010 21:58

Don't tempt me - mind you not with Baileys, can't stand the stuff - decent glass bottle of red

meltedchocolate · 18/01/2010 22:07

Stop you lot whining about putting on weight. I am DESPERATELY trying to put it on at this end... (not anorexic just a food burner)

Meh I'm with you on the lack of fags and alcohol thing kdk. Stopped both myself...

kdk · 18/01/2010 22:09

I want to do what that plastic surgeon did in California and power my car off my own fat! Probably be able to go and visit Juicy via by own biofuel ...
