that's exactly what i'd say eve,call me old fashioned but if he suggested dinner on a first date then it's his shout!
saying that i did cringe my way thru that uber expensive dinner that that particularly dull as shit man paid for knowing full well that there was not a chance in hell of him seeing me again...ohh god i even cringe now thinking about it and how i tried not to let him see me sneaking a look at his watch and cursing him for taking so sodding long to finish his sodding drink so i could escape....

Gardener is now texting me once or twice daily but I can't be arsed to text back - I 'm not playing games honest but we've only emailed so far and his texts just say things like thinking of you and he also sent one saying how he hoped his luck would change in 2010 with someone like me. FFS we haven't even met yet. It just seems the wrong way round but perhaps I am being picky. I am beginning to regret sending him NY text.

Restaurant looks good and not too expensive, was wondering if it was the lunch menu but don't think it is.

Enjoy it, makes me want to go for a meal but our local pubs don't have menus like that one.

Just colouring my hair - nearly went darker reddish colour but have stuck to the mouse with highlights for now!!

Was proud of ds1 today he got up with no fuss - not fun when he was the only one going out of the house - I made him porridge and then went back to bed for a while.

i desperately need to do my roots, they are about 2 inches long now!

ASBM - he put his mobile at the top of one of his emails before Christmas and said maybe I would take him out in the New Year - and so I sent him a New Year text.

I don't think he's that bad actually but he tends to send newsy emails usually about work and I don't feel like I know anything much about him. So in a way his texts seem too further on for where we are.

Might suggest meeting for a coffee or maybe not text back (coward that I am).

Its been dragging on for quite a while really as I stopped corresponding with him when I met samename and sort of kept him on the back burner. So he's been on site for ages which is slightly worrying in itself.

Maybe he isnt English which would explain the lack of banter.
