DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 06/01/2010 23:02

ninah - he took a 2nd job because he was drinking thurs/fri/sat/sun nights and in danger of loosing another job thru it.his main job.

when he drinks.. he has to get plastered. trouble is i am good at encouraging this behaviour and being led down that path also .

thing is.. i know i have issues with drink.. but i can control it.

on new years day he tried to talk me into continuing drinking with him and he would not show up for his 2nd job.

i contemplated it.
i contemplated just leaving dc with their dad an extra night.

then i put my head on straight and went home ... forcing him to go to work as no one to play with.

i have to admit this relationship is a very slippery (yet incredibly good fun) slope

must stay away completely.

ninah · 06/01/2010 23:02

lol
hatesponge????????

lou33 · 06/01/2010 23:05

did you snog with tongues, did you make another date, did you blow him in the car park, that kind of thing

details please

aseriouslyblondemoment · 06/01/2010 23:06

if it's not monty it's def you now lou scaring off sponge...

ninah · 06/01/2010 23:07

OK juicy I do see what you mean.
I would be the same in this case. I love a drink and letting my hair down. But.
Sometimes someone sensible by your side is a huge asset. My first husband was an alcoholic and it was very easy to get sucked into drinking more than was normal/responsible
I also worry about this with friends. That would be a big no no alright. Devil, best tunes, all that. You are right and you have such a good head on you. Let 2010 be your year

DONTtouchMUMSfestiveJUICE · 06/01/2010 23:08

its taking a while must be a good story

hatesponge · 06/01/2010 23:08

i think we got on, but am not sure if there was a real spark though, but I think we will see each other again .

there was a peck on the cheek.

then he walked me to my door cos he was worried about me falling over in my high heels in the snow!

and then we had a proper kiss on the doorstep albeit not for long cos is about -3 outside & he didnt have a jacket!

and am now waiting for him to text me to say he's made it home

lou33 · 06/01/2010 23:10

did you cop a feel when he was kissing you?

ninah · 06/01/2010 23:11

thought lou's carpark story was a big optimitic in this temp
snog tho! woohoo

lou33 · 06/01/2010 23:12

oh i dunno it may have made it a tad harder

hatesponge · 06/01/2010 23:13

lol @ copping a feel

will save that for next time (if there is a next time!)

lou33 · 06/01/2010 23:14

i always try to cop a feel of some part of the body, even if i cant grope the main bit lol

thats wrong isnt it?

ninah · 06/01/2010 23:14

lou

ninah · 06/01/2010 23:15
