I sneaked a look at match and the ground is very bare, some of them look plain weird from their photos, and that's your chance to look your best, right?!

I'm amazed at some of the photos people put up on dating websites - the ones with fish are bad enough as are the standing by ferraris that he owns only in his dreams but the bizarre poses/shots that people choose to represent them to the world ...

was thinking today, spoke to gymboy on NYD (few times hard call to make) we agreed then would talk on tuesday. then spoke online on sat, sunday 1 text/online, monday 2 texts, y'day 3 texts & he tried to call spoke online for about an hour as well, today 3 texts (replied to 2 of them so far). do I need to think about ringing him at all? it's the whole used to talk 2 times a day thing but it's gone totally (did cut down when was away anyhow) not sure, think I might well just leave it.

@ fairy - not usually one to blow my own trumpet, but I'd win that one hands down ....

belle texting etc is OK but sometimes is not the best form of communication, easy to misunderstand etc. Maybe because I'm old and a Luddite but I find it quite frustrating to text and text alone. Unless with old friends I know really well

ninah - I've never got that one either - a 48-year-old man (or older) who's not sure he wants kids - let's face it it's unlikely you'll find someone young enough to have them with you .... or the ones who are scared shitless about being hurt again but are still on dating websites .... a guy once told me that he reckons 90% of the male profiles without photos are married guys who just want to play away but are terrified of being spotted ....
