Ok an update from OJ for those that have been asking

You know how the last three years have been so bloody difficult and over that time i have shared a lot on MN which in turn has meant that i have had a huge amount of support which frankly still blows me away. you have walked beside me throu the tears so i think it is only fair that you get to share the joy

The kids continue to make me proud and amaze me in equal measures they have coped with the death of their lovely dad far better than i could have imagined.
i am doing really well, it has been almost 16 months now and i have adjusted to the new life i didn't want or choose and.............................
i feel very lucky for what we do have now.
some of you have asked on facebook what it is that is making me smile and the answer is.......... i have been seeing someone who is very special and he has made me feel very special too.
He says that he understands that i will always love Steve and he doesn't want that to ever change but hopes that i have enough love to share with him

Well i met him online, turns out he did his nurse training with one of my mates so we chatted on facebook and MSN and on the phone for many hours before i agreed to meet him.
Our first date was for lunch, we were so busy chatting we forgot to order lunch so we had to go out for dinner instead, the first date was 12 hours, have now had 10 dates and am very smitten.

How lovely to read that you have found some happiness again OJ. You deserve it

Have now seen him 11 times and he is coming for tea with me and the kids tomorrow

i am very very happy
Have seen each other 27 times now.
toms son gets on very well with my three.
i get on very well with toms DD but she has yet to meet the kids as she works a lot.
Tom asked to borrow one of my rings, to get it measured.
He has since asked me if i will marry him!
