Ok an update from OJ for those that have been asking

You know how the last three years have been so bloody difficult and over that time i have shared a lot on MN which in turn has meant that i have had a huge amount of support which frankly still blows me away. you have walked beside me throu the tears so i think it is only fair that you get to share the joy
..........
The kids continue to make me proud and amaze me in equal measures they have coped with the death of their lovely dad far better than i could have imagined.
i am doing really well, it has been almost 16 months now and i have adjusted to the new life i didn't want or choose and.............................
i feel very lucky for what we do have now.
some of you have asked on facebook what it is that is making me smile and the answer is.......... i have been seeing someone who is very special and he has made me feel very special too.
He says that he understands that i will always love Steve and he doesn't want that to ever change but hopes that i have enough love to share with him

OJ, I'm so pleased for you!
You don't know me, but I vividly remember crying buckets over your threads when you lost Steve (I was hugely pregnant, very hormonal and you are the strongest, bravest woman I've ever "met" - your story moved me so much, it was one of the early threads I got involved in when I joined MN and it really showed me how wonderful MNers can be)
I'm sure Steve would be happy to know you have found someone special and I pray you and your wonderful children have every happiness in the future.

How lovely OJ. Thanks so much for the update. I am so pleased that you and the children and doing so well. And I am also very happy for you that you have met someone nice. Something that has always shone out at me from your posts is that you have a huge heart and so much love in you for others. I am so pleased that you have met someone who appreciates you. And I am sure that Steve approves too - Steve loved you and knew you well enough to know that you deserve to be happy and loved and secure. Go OJ!

And Yorkiegirl - I am so pleased to see your update too.

Now - how is Martianbishop doing? If either of you are in touch please tell her I said hello - not that she probably knows me from all the many MNers but I do miss her.
