Hi
Date is tonight (hoping this one does think he feels like my Dad!)
Am meeting another chap for coffee on tuesday for coffee he sounds lovely!

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 03/09/2009 15:27

lou - how did your lunch go?

lou33 · 03/09/2009 15:43

i just got back as i went to get the kids before coming home

he was v nice, i think he was nervous, sweet etc, but not a spark for me

though he did talk about meeting me again one evening

probably not assertive enough for me

i'm going to focus on lunchbox for now, he ticks more of my boxes, and this morning he booked a hotel near to me for a couple of weeks time so he can wine and dine me

we have a definite strong spark , meeting this guy has confirmed that for me

OP posts:
lou33 · 03/09/2009 15:44

an overload of me in that last post

Lou good, now you can concentrate on LB.

I'm still chatting to someone. Added him on MSN so will try and have a chat over the weekend. Probably meet him if he askes.

lou33 · 03/09/2009 16:25

who, eve?

muso just sent me a text saying he had a lovely time and hoped i hadnt been disappointed

i just cant see us together, he is not assertive enough and a bit too studenty in his demeanour

OP posts:
lucy1001 · 03/09/2009 16:39

studenty is not good!

lou33 · 03/09/2009 16:46

i dont mind a dressed down look, but, and i KNOW some of you on here will laugh/agree with me on these points

i didnt like his shoes and he was thinner than i expected

he was v nervous tho

i know this because he just logged into msn and told me that

and asked to see me again ....

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 03/09/2009 17:01

whippet thin... lol... deja vu from a date of mine recently.

horrible shoes are big turn off for me too. they are clothes like the rest of the ones you put on your body. you wouldn't turn up with a ripped/dirty shirt... yet some people find it acceptable to have manky shoes that "talk"

bless him though lou - he obviously thought you were best thing since sliced bread... shame you dont return the feelings

lunchbox it is then.

oddly enough..... beachbum wears flip flops when weather is nice..... which i had never seen on a man before (lack of sun in scotland i suppose ).... normally i think this look ridiculous... but it really suits his beach/sufer/boarder look when he's out of his suit (nice shiny shoes then, flip flops in suit would be a deffo no-no )

lou33 · 03/09/2009 18:27

lol i knew you would understand my weight shoe dilemma

they were like converse trainers , which is fine, but shiny, which isnt

and he said to me during a conversation that he was between 9 and 9.5 stone, and he is about 5ft 11

too thin

my exbf used to wear flip flops in all weathers

muso guy as well as asking if he could see me again, asked me what i thought of him

i've had lots of texts from lunchbox today, luckily not when i was having lunch, because they make me use my naughty smile and that would have had muso wondering wtf was going on

lou33 · 03/09/2009 18:33

he also straightens his hair, he was worried the rain would ruin it

OP posts:
DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 03/09/2009 19:09

straightens his hair???????

Remotew · 03/09/2009 19:46

Sorry Lou was posting in a hurry LB=Lunchbox.

thesouthsbelle · 03/09/2009 19:59

oooh lou no go with lunchbox not this one, totally get he shoes thing - XP turned up for a date in jeans scruffy t shirt & scrffier trainers - should have known! first dates should be all about looking smart. hair straightening - does he also use moisturiser as well?

good luck lucy for tonight.

also good luck eve.

rj - how's things with you n beachbum?

i'm currently talking to the deejay - and am shocked that he's now 'seeing' at 17 year old!!!! (he's 28!!) anyhow he's had the jibes about it being legal. lol. have heard from gymboy today, roll on seeing him tomorrow in his little shorts on the treadmill.

DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 03/09/2009 20:19

still have my fingers crossed to see him before he goes. depends on work. no depinite plans yet.

i wish there was hot men to swoon at my gym. time i go at there is those big huuuuuge bodybuilder who look like hulk and the women who are obsessed.

thesouthsbelle · 03/09/2009 20:45

lol. thankfully mine's more chilled out, and they just so happen to have a proper fit personal trainer as well, who i've been sneaking looks at. .

Confirmed dinner out tomorrow, his treat. will see after he gets back from going away what happens then.

lou33 · 03/09/2009 21:12

no eve i meant who are you talking to?!

i assume you arent talking to lunchbox, though if you were it would show you had excellent taste

yes he straightens his hair

well just the front bit, which is longer, the rest is like a short back and sides, he was a tad anxious about the rain esp as we had to queue to get into the restaurant for a bit, so i was a gentleman and offered him my sheltered spot

OP posts:
thesouthsbelle · 03/09/2009 21:14
Grin
DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 03/09/2009 21:34

FFs lou - no wonder you never felt a spark with a damp squid.

lou33 · 03/09/2009 21:43

lol i know

bless him eh?

OP posts:
DONTtouchMUMSspecialJUICE · 03/09/2009 21:47

we've had the metrosexual convo before.

sorry... floats some others boats...... but definately not for me.

lucy, south - what do you prefer. think the others have said...

mans man.... stubble and good at manly jobs

or metrosexual who spends more time in bathroom than you and steals your straighteners

lou33 · 03/09/2009 22:30

i'm liking lunchbox type of man, more blokey, but not a nob

he is also assertive enough to suit me

OP posts:
Remotew · 03/09/2009 22:33

OK sorry misunderstood. It's early days but will give him the nickname of keyguy.

Catch you soon.

lucy1001 · 04/09/2009 06:13

Lou 33 lunch box sounds good think I would find it difficult to take a man or a man that admits to straightening his hair seriously!!!
southbelle have a good time tonight
Anyway, last night was good he was lovely and far more attractive than his profile picture.!! Bit ackward at the end and I kind of just lwft in a hurry! Texted him later to say thanks for the drink. He said no problems thanks for lovely evening!! Anyway replied hope i didn't bore you too much let me know if you swant to do it again sometime. He replied that he had fun I made him smile and he would would love too!! so fingers crossed !!!
Anyway enough about me

thesouthsbelle · 04/09/2009 07:03

lucy ooh that sounds promising.

juicy - i'm a mans man sort of a girl, after XP who would cry at the drop of a hat, it was sort of ffs man pull yourself together!! I like nice strong arms for cuddles, smartly dressed. pref to be independent as well - not asking too much is it! not keen on gottees at all, gymboy has a beardy stubble which is rather sexy thou.
