HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:18

Ohhh don't like heavy brummie accents....snd yes it is nice so will savour this moment because you just never know when its going to turn sour!

HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:20

oh I know, my imaginations working overtime with all sorts of shocking thoughts lol

HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:22

aseriouslyblondemoment · 19/02/2009 21:22

pof is the only site i use, but the one i am seeing atm was from a dating site i was on a couple of years ago, it wasnt that good aside from him tho

aseriouslyblondemoment · 19/02/2009 21:24

Holly just go with the flow
but dont mention the ex,politics, religion or sex(yet!)

OP posts:
HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:25

yeah thats the problem but I think it depends which part of brum doesn't it? for example Dudley area is the worst, wheareas Solihull, Egbaston, and outskirts are better, then men sound more intelligent. Fitman is from Wolverhampton so not sure if that makes a difference to his lack of brummie accent.

elmoandella · 19/02/2009 21:26

diver has a very very deep voice.with the accent of my relatives we used to visit when i was little

he's not text today. perhaps out of range. he has text everynight when he was finished at reasonable time. last night i text him at 9pm and he was still working from 5am!!

so i'm being patient and not texting tonight as he probably still working.he would probably reply . but i think it's better if he's relaxing when speaking...does that make sense? dont want to be distracting him.

thinking i might go watch a dvd to stop myself checking my phone every 5 mins

elmoandella · 19/02/2009 21:28

holly - dont make a list. if you cant chat naturally then it's not right. with any fella you meet the chat should just happen. shouldn't need to make an effort.

HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:30

yay for deep sexy voices.
Think thats the worst think the waiting, checking emails, checking mobile! I'm impatient at the best of times, so must learn to take plenty of deep breaths and learn how to play it cool!

raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 19/02/2009 21:30

ahhh, those times of checking the phone every 5 mins I SO need to get some dates sorted...
lol at accents, funny how some can put you right off isnt it..mind you, I am sure I have a massive accent (from the way ds speaks), but dont notice it.

HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:32

Yeah I was just thinking the same thing Elmo, its just starting the conversation off I suppose and hoping there's no awkward silences. we shall see...what will be, will be!

HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:32

RTP - what part of the country are you from?

elmoandella · 19/02/2009 21:33

i dont even bother about my phone through the day as it goes non stop and i'm always on the move.

but its at this time of night. when kids in bed and i have no plans to go out for the night.....and i've already got to look forward to the nightly text he would send asking of my day

how sad is that. after only getting them since sunday.

not wanting him here though...couldn't be doing with a male in my house when i'm getting a chick flick on just a wee text.lol

HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:36

Its also knowing that someone's thinking of you as well though isn't it and the fact they must really like you if their sending you texts etc.

aseriouslyblondemoment · 19/02/2009 21:36

Holly hark at you with your preference for Edgbaston,Solihull etc
you def wouldnt like Blackberry Man
i automatically avoid Dudley-land
had one bloke message me called Dudleydave
needless to say i didnt reply
RGT i dont have to check my phone every 5 mins thats the prob
every time i look have at least 3 on there from Blackberry

OP posts:
aseriouslyblondemoment · 19/02/2009 21:38

Elmo loves Diver nah nah nah nah....

OP posts:
elmoandella · 19/02/2009 21:39

asbm - blackberry man constant messaging would annoy me.

my exbf texts me non-stop once he gets started. he has now learned if i have ignored the first not to send any till i get back to him. which could be days or weeks .lol once he gets started they are non stop. and if i dont reply straight away he'll send same again or something else and i end up replying to 3 at once.

elmoandella · 19/02/2009 21:41

fuck off. lol. i dont do love.

those "3 magic words" have to be forced out of me by way of interrogation.

no, seriously. i think i have issues about saying that. i can think it. and perhaps feel it. but saying it out loud is another matter.

HOLLY23 · 19/02/2009 21:41

I'd avoid anyone who has names live DudleyDave or SkyBlueDave, or LeicesterLad, but then again guys that use names like that normally have a face to match IYKWIM!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 19/02/2009 21:42

it does its really annoying
i had a good four hours of it yesterday
and calls too
when i was out and lost the signal he got really worked up as i hadnt replied

OP posts:
raggedtrouseredphilanthropist · 19/02/2009 21:42

Holly - I am east anglian ooh arr and all that.
elmo- Its not sad waiting for those texts. really. like holly said - its knowing someone is thinking of you...
seriously - is blackberry man a weirdo then?
