elmoandella · 10/02/2009 14:27

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/02/2009 14:30

a little. he's possibly busy and unsure when he can meet again. give him a chance before you get too miffed.

inthemistsoftime · 10/02/2009 14:33

I have a couple of single parent friends who have met and had relationships with men from internet dating sites but none have ever met "the one."

Maybe we should give up trying, many people have the philosophy that "the one" will come to you when the time is right!!!!

I thought my H was the one for me, oh well I may as well give up now then!

sincitylover · 10/02/2009 14:36

But I am not really looking for anything serious/new partner on the dating sites just some male company, a nice date and maybe a friend with benefits. And some fun!

But still has to be with a person I really click with.

But I know what you mean about things happening when you least expect them.

lou33 · 10/02/2009 14:37

inthemist, do you know you can specify no married people on your pof profile, so they are not able to contact you?

inthemistsoftime · 10/02/2009 14:41

I had a friend with benefits but it wasn't enough.

I enjoy male company but every time I have gone that little bit further I have been disappointed, I have to click with someone for it to be fantastic.

Maybe I am just not lucky, or maybe I am not ready yet?

I thought I was but........

aseriouslyblondemoment · 10/02/2009 14:44

ok Elmo will be a bit more patient lol!
and i have met the one but sadly didnt see it at the time so he's another write off
yes all i really want is primarily nice, fun male company
a relationship can lead from there if it's going to i guess
but am not prepared for more of the same old
ie exh type crap
i know at least what i want that's for sure and until i find it am content
