Just curious.

I know 1 person with 3 kids who found a new bloke pretty much without even trying, but thats it, don't know anymore.

not sure whether to be insulted or complimented by that!

lou33 · 21/05/2008 01:41

COMPLIMENT!!!!!

Pinkchampagne · 21/05/2008 07:41

Agree with you too, NA. Once you get into somewhere with a dance floor, your drinking slows right down as you are too busy dancing!

Sometimes I meet up with a friend in the week & will drink soft drinks, as I don't want to feel rough at work the next day!
It is just nice to get out. You don't have to get drunk!

Pinkchampagne · 21/05/2008 07:42

Meet up with a friend in a bar that is!

electra · 21/05/2008 09:37

I don't get drunk when I go out either. It doesn't agree with me. I have never been a party animal, even when I was 18. Actually my idea of a good time is a meal etc but I like going to bars with my friends and have had some good nights without getting drunk.

CrackerOfNuts · 21/05/2008 12:20

Ahh but I don't dance though either. Right old bore I am.

What do you do??

myalias · 21/05/2008 12:40

The majority of people meet their partners through socialising or at work. If you don't do either of these the chances of you meeting Mr.Right is not going to happen.

CrackerOfNuts · 21/05/2008 12:45

Nothing really bellyup.

If going out with friends I prefer to go for a meal, or to the pictures and that is about it. I don't go out often anyway as you know.

I did dance when away on the hen weekend, but only after a few drinks, and even then I wasn't comfortable doing so.

Trouble is though myalias, I need to in crease my social circle in order to be able to socialise, and I can't do that unless I get a job, which despite my best efforts is just not happening.

nappyaddict · 21/05/2008 20:45

nutty - if you go to a bar/pub you don't have to dance. you can just sit there having a natter and listen to the music. i must admit i prefer bars to clubs for this reason. i am more of a stand there holding my glass pretending to dance by sort of swaying and changing position every so often dancer.

Pinkchampagne · 21/05/2008 21:19

I prefer bars to clubs too, as I like to hear myself talk! Must be getting old!!

CrackerOfNuts · 21/05/2008 21:20

I think I was old at about 18 then PC

Lol! When I first met my man, I could barely hear a word he was saying, it was most annoying!!
then there was the fact that when we finally got together, 8 months adter first meeting (long story, but was still living with ex H when we first met!), I couldn't even remember what he looked like!!

Pinkchampagne · 21/05/2008 21:34

After even!

Was pleasently surprised when he did come to my door all those months later, btw!!
