Flame that is really painful. Thing is only he can change his mind. Really feel for you. This is the kind of thing that scares me about dating.
In the New Year I plan to finish a novel, do some exercise, tidy the house and get some windows that don't actually leak, even if I have to do it one by one. And try to dress a bit more smartly.
Elasta I'm a bit off internet dating too. The main advantage is that at least you know you are both up for it, so to speak. I am hoping to be a bit more sociable in rl as dc get older. Very sorry about your mum.

The situation re Carrot sounds very stressful and overwrought. I do hope it all works out for you.

Mily - I love your charity bookshop idea! That's one of my favourite ways to pass the time, and we do have some great shops up here in Edin.

As for NYR - I think must be to make more time for myself and perhaps be a bit more selfish. Much of my time last year seemed to be running round after others (DS not included there of course :))

Unfortunately I do have to do some chores, DS bedroom really needs decluttering so will do that.
