My son may be dying

Just that.

He has cancer, they have not been able to control it.

They have given him one last chemotherapy to see if it can turn a corner but his body may not be able to tolerate it and it may not work.

We have been told to prepare ourselves for him to deteriorate suddenly.

My husband can't be with us because my son also has Coronavirus so we are in isolation and he is with our other son.

This has brought me to tears for you. I've been having a down night feeling sorry for myself and I read your post and I can't believe how pathetic I am.
You are so so so brave and your son is so so brave and together you can face whatever will come.
I can't imagine your pain, your fear and being separated from the rest of your family when you should all be together. So cruel. I will be thinking of you and your amazing boy and praying his chemo helps tonight XX

Please don’t give up hope, I’ve been where you are now (without the CV) and hope is what will get you through this. I know you feel like you can’t do this but I promise you that you can - all your years of being a mum and your love for him will give you the strength and courage to smile at him and reassure him that he’s safe and will be ok.

I will hope and pray that your son, like mine, makes it through his last-chance chemo and is granted the miracle of a cure despite all the odds x
