Everyone should watch Ed Halmagyi's interview on the Australian news about why he's had to close down Avner's bakery in Sydney. I can't link to it as it keeps showing my Facebook name when I do so, but hopefully I've given you enough details for you to Google! Think the Zionist federation of Australia shared it on their social media.

I didn't see his interview but I saw posts about it. I'll see if i can find a twitter link.

I’m not sure how many of you know Patricia Heaton. She is a US actress who has been in several sitcoms, ‘Everyone loves Raymond’ is the one I know her from.

She is actually Catholic but she has been a strong supporter of the Jewish community since the barbaric attacks of 07 October, even flying out to Washington DC (I lived there from 2007-2009) to attend a (peaceful!!!!) Jewish march to ask for the hostages to be released.

i follow her on Instagram, i will look for the posts.

She even put a yellow ribbon on her door.

In a world where most celebrities act like sheep, she stands out.

I have just looked at her Instagram and it looks like she’s deleted it all.

I am so disappointed. I am going to unfollow her.

Hollywood absolutely bears responsibility here too.

(I’m not sure if that’s to do with settings (I’m not on x) or me being drunk/ dense)

Anyhow, I posted this to my stories.

And I’m happy with that. If there’s any antisemites in my midst they can weed themselves out

May I just say that us non Jewish posters (well I’m only talking about myself here but I’m hoping I’m not the only one) absolutely take an interest in what Hollywood is doing (well, those of us who are invested in battling antisemitism)

Can I remind people on here that posting antisemitic tropes and other propaganda is not ok and we SHOULD be keeping a note of it. It can be reported and people can and have been investigated. Will post links when I have a mo!

I’m finding it quite disturbing that there’s a lot more denial of October 7th lately. I know it’s been there since the start but I’m seeing it become more socially acceptable now.

Can you imagine any other situation where a group of people commit such horrific acts, literally records it on video and loads of people stick their fingers in their ears and say “no it never happened”.

I am so, so sorry for what you are all going through, yet again - I am not sure how you bear it.
@EllaDisenchanted I love that video. Someone sent me a clip from Chabad.org of Rabbi Eli Schlanger dancing in the street with a portable menorah on the roof of his car last Chanukah. The best response to antisemitism, he said in it, was to be more Jewish and spread more light. It was utterly heartbreaking and totally inspiring at the same time. In solidarity 💐

I'm here. We have been having a lovely Hanukkah, mostly in defiance of what is happening. My friend's father was at Bondi. An old Chabad man just sitting on a bench, watching the fun. Luckily he was safe, BH, but when can we all count on being safe? Chag hanukkah sameach.

the answer to antisemitism is we keep shining our menorahs, we keep doing what we do. We’re a stiff necked people and we don’t bow down. We keep eating our doughnuts and our latkes and we keep laughing while we’re crying and we don’t ever stop.

I've seen this video a few times now and I bawl my eyes out every time.
