Anybody else starting or in middle of treatment?

Bit about my experience so far..
My last treatment was in december and had to come to a stop after finding a polyp during the scan. Have since removed the polylp and given the green light to go again. currently on estrodiol and due for a lining thickness scan next week. If all goes to plan I think the frozen transfer will be during 1st wk of april (Fingers X’ed!)

Thanks you lovely lot! Seems to be good news, we could see a heartbeat and it was measuring 6+3 which is the date I am so hopefully all good. Only weird thing was she said as I left oh I won’t tell you the speed of the heartbeat as I don’t really believe in that but I’ve seen nothing to concern me so hopefully you’re all set. Which threw me off a bit! Hopefully I’m just over thinking.

when are the next scans booked in for you ladies? X

@Lostmyusernametoday oooh that all sounds super positive. Well done! I wouldn’t worry about the heartbeat comment. They’re pretty hard to measure at that size anyway. I’d focus on the bit where she said ‘nothing that concerns me’. So are you discharged from clinic now or will they scan again?

ps I’m 6+4 today (v close to you!) and my second scan is next Thursday x

@Evi83 discharged now! Need to call my GP tomorrow and get booked in….feels very strange! Not counting any chickens just yet, but one more hurdle down ❤️.

@Lostmyusernametoday ooh that’s so exciting to get over another hurdle and to get into mainstream maternity care. Hope you don’t have to wait too long for your first midwife appointment and the 12 week scan 🙏🏻

My first scan is next Tuesday, when I should be 6+4 based on start of my last period. I've had some bleeding the past 2 days (some brown, some red) and some quite bad pains come and go on one side. Luckily not a huge amount of blood, the clinic said it shouldn't be anything to worry about, just if it gets heavy to call them straight back. You should see my Google search history 😂😂

I’ve got my scan on Friday, when I will be exactly 7 weeks

my scan is tomorrow when I think I’ll be 6+7 (is that 7 weeks I’m unsure. Think my 7 weeks is on Friday).

And sorry about the pains / bleeding @Brownowl83 Hopefully it’s not getting any worse. Do use your clinic as much as you need - if you’re worried do call them. I think bleeding is very normal but SO stressful!! Sending lots of love.

@Brownowl83 lots of my friends have had this but it is so stressful - the last thing you want to see. Hoping it’s just a bit of spotting and no need for you to call the clinic back 🙏🙏🙏

I'm still spotting a small amount (brown now) and with intermittent pain on one side similar to ovulation pain. It's not bad as in unbearable, but worse than the other cramps when it strikes. I've not called the clinic, going to see what happens tomorrow and go from there. Kind of avoiding it too as not sure they will do anything, I'm not particularly worried - not as bad as Monday/Tuesday and only small amounts 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi all, thanks for your good wishes. Had our scan and baby was there, in the right place with heartbeat and measuring correctly for my days. So couldn’t have gone much better. I’m over the moon and going to now book into maternity services. Eeeek!
@jenk91 hope yours is equally good tomorrow. Any one else’s scan tomorrow too?

Hey @Lostmyusernametoday bad news from my side unfortunately, they said the foetus had stopped growing and there was no heartbeat, so they’ve said it’s a missed miscarriage and now got to wait for my body to hopefully get rid on its own, if not have an appointment in a couple of weeks.

not sure if this will be any help at all but a podcast I like called worst girl gang ever has several episodes dedicated to missed miscarriage if that might make you feel a bit less alone ❤️

@jenk91 im so sorry to hear your update. I hope you are surrounding yourself with people you love and looking after yourself well as I know it can be such a tough time.

I do think sometimes bodies freak out when first get pregnant (think you mentioned this is the first time you have had a positive test) and it ends in a miscarriage as it’s like they don’t know what is happening but then it’s successful the next time (happened to me but also many other people I know outside of ivf) so I would say please don’t give up hope and do try again when you are feeling up to it! (I hope this is a helpful message and not out of turn). Sending soo much love! Xxxx
