Anybody else starting or in middle of treatment?

Bit about my experience so far..
My last treatment was in december and had to come to a stop after finding a polyp during the scan. Have since removed the polylp and given the green light to go again. currently on estrodiol and due for a lining thickness scan next week. If all goes to plan I think the frozen transfer will be during 1st wk of april (Fingers X’ed!)

@Brownowl83 hear you on good liar. A friend asked me on the day I found it if I was thinking about another and I lied and then felt terrible so messaged her and she was like errr yeah I obvs knew and I’m so glad I know you’re the worst liar ever 😂😂

I’d like to stay too. Feeling extremely anxious about first scan on Thursday (it’s early at 5+6). Have another booked for 29th too. I’m glad it’s so soon but also slightly terrified.

V Tired too, and a bit bloated, with some fleeting moments of nausea (but possibly imagining that). Mostly I just feel unpregnant!

I’ve got a friends birthday on Friday night and it’s just the three of us. Thank you for reminding me of the old uti excuse, I shall definitely be using that…. 🤪

@Lostmyusernametoday it will be definitely hard to keep lying, and now I know why people usually keep quiet until at least 12 weeks!

Hi all - how are you doing?
I am still pretty symptomless... but had a scan this morning, and embryo measured exactly 5+6 (which is what i am today). They could also see the heartbeat, but were unable to measure it (too small atm) but said everything looked good. So positive, but given everything that has happenned in the past I am still terrified. Next scan in 2 weeks. Don't think the fear will ever go away until / if a baby arrived (hate using the b-word, convinced it jinxes everything).
Is it just me who's constantly terrified?!!

Hey @Evi83 thats great news! A step in the right direction, and just got to take it a day at a time. Hopefully the next two weeks don’t go too slowly 😬
I feel the same, constantly terrified that something is going to go wrong! I feel better for a bit and then I get a twinge or something and the anxiety starts again! I’m also symptomless really, just exhausted and super bloated by the end of the day. Got my scan next Friday, hoping it comes quickly!

Same here! Only had cramps but then the past 2 days absolutely nothing. Then randomly some much more intense and lower cramps have come on. All very confusing. No sore boobs either only bad sleep but think that's because I'm anxious.

My scan isn't until the 27th either!

I guess I'm trying be to realistic in that the odds are stacked against me, being 42, first round, underactive thyroid etc. I also don't want to get any hopes up. Is that bad?

@Evi83 oh great news on the scan! It’s reassuring for today at least even if the anxiety does start again tomorrow 😂.

my only symptom is lower back pain still otherwise I feel 100% normal and the back pain comes and goes. So yes I would agree the anxiety is high. Pretty sure last time I was feeling sick at this point….but I guess they say every pregnancy is different.
trying to take it one day at a time as @jenk91 has suggested.
scan 1 week today so getting closer….

I'm not sure how the weeks work under IVF.

Oh sounds like we’re all in the same boat (and what a boat!). Weirdly hoping some nausea or something reassuringly pregnant-related kicks in soon.

@jenk91 and @Foreverhoping33 thanks - not too long to wait for your scans then - bet it comes around super quick! And oh my god the anxiety. You can’t just be happy like normal people would probably be now, just constant symptom analysing and general stress! @Foreverhoping33 also sure I had nausea by this time last time (let’s hope they’re just different as you say).

@Brownowl83 thanks - not fully sure how the dating works but clinic says I’m 5+6 today. So next scan will be at 7+6 (so yeah, basically 8 weeks). And I’m 42 in July too!

I so hope we all make it to the magical end together 🩷🫶🏻🎉

@Evi83 that’s wonderful news! The fact there’s already a heart beat is a really good sign but I do understand the anxiety as I’m the same, feels great for 10 mins then back to worrying!

my scan is Tuesday and I have to fly for a wedding tomorrow - it’s only 50 mins but increasing the anxiety even more!!

@Lostmyusernametoday ooh Tuesdays not far away and you have a great distraction over the weekend. Flight is so short it’ll be fine.

@Evi83 i know logically it won’t have any impact but your mind plays tricks doesn’t it! Wedding also goes on till 5am and everyone from work is going so that’ll be easy to disguise 😂🙈.

@Lostmyusernametoday we did exactly the same today- was totally prepared to hear the worst and surprised when we didn’t.

Ah, sounds like an Irish wedding 😂 Everyone will be tipsy about an hour in and won’t take any notice of you not being!

Hope the flight goes smoothly. I know what you mean about irrational worry. Everytime I move in weird way or bend or stretch I’m convinced I’ve done something to harm the embryo! Maybe download a good podcast or something to distract yourself…

Same old here - most symptoms seem to have stopped entirely now including the need to pee regularly 🤷🏻‍♀️ I used the last test in the house yesterday, still positive thankfully but still just as anxious as ever. Also still can't believe this is happening 🤣

I actually think this wait for the first scan is harder than the TWW!!

Hey @Brownowl83! I had been the same most of last week, but since yesterday I’ve started getting nausea and the tiredness is hitting me like a bus 😩 I’m trying to take it all as a good sign though!

I totally agree, this is way worse than tww 😂 and we thought that was bad!!

I had nausea yesterday but less so today so obviously I’m overthinking that….

Hey @Brownowl83 @jenk91 @Evi83 pretty much same old here, although now under 48 hours to go for me till the scan so I’m so worried and anxious. Danced my legs off at the wedding so I’m already in bed but I think that’s more a 1am finish and 4 hours on the dance floor than anything else 😂😂.

My tiredness def comes and goes, or rather is def more intense some days than others. Only one person at the wedding guessed and she’s lovely and wouldn’t tell, so I must be a better drunk actress than j thought 😂😂

I hear you on the tiredness. Totally comes and go for me too. (As with everything else!!)

Hope you manage to find a way to keep yourself distracted until Tuesday. My clinic was a staff member down and we had a 45min wait in the actual clinic last week which nearly killed me off!! Hope it goes well xx

agreed this is worse than the tww! But we are all getting there now, thank goodness! Desperate to get to Thursday for the scan but also very scared we won’t get the news we are hoping for so then kinda want it to stay away….
Still feeling minimal symptoms over here. Sure I had nausea by this stage last time….
