Hi has anyone been here for IVF treatment.
my husband and I are looking at treatment abroad we currently have a 6 year old who we had through the NHS Scotland but want to extend our family.

Bit anxious about booking tests and medication etc, and also losing this dreaded weight. I know i can do it i done it for my daughter, my husband has low sperm count so this is why were seeking treatment.

As i was sent there and iam trying to find more information regarding what was on news about acertain donor

Aww i need to look further into this there seem to be two similar clinics ,i see.
Has anyone seen or heard the news regarding this certain sperm donor thats got this rare cancer gene?

Hi, I hope you don’t mind me messaging. I am due to have treatment this year at Miracle IVF Dr.Firdevs clinic and wondered if anyone had any advice? Some women have said that they purchased their medication from pharmacies instead of the hospital.
Were you put to sleep for egg collection?
Did you have restrictions like having to stay out of the sun and water?
Did you have to take any medication/injections on the plane journey?
Did anyone travel with children and have treatment?

@Livebee I had ivf there last year, I now Have twin girls,
I started medication over here which the clinic will give you a online pharmacy to buy from in the uk.
We brought the 1st lot of medication from the hospital for before the transfer but after the transfer we brought them from the pharmacy just over the road from the clinic its alot cheaper than the hospital.

No medication on the flight that I required I did pessaries before the flight.

I wasn't aloud in the water or the sun. We stayed in just before transfer and after. Your not aloud to over heat so make sure you have air con in your appartment where your staying if you go when its hot there. We had that massive heatwave last year there even the locals where struggling lol.

Can't answer about egg retrieve as I used donor eggs.

@Livebee hi yes I have used them I did my stimulation meds in the UK and had a few days whilst in Cyprus still taking them so had them in my hand luggage, no issue taking them on the flight, for your stims in the UK you will need to purchase meds, I ordered mine from a pharmacy in India personally just due to the cost however there is a few UK online pharmacies that accept the north Cyprus prescription, for the meds before the transfer I purchased from a pharmacy by the hospital they are very reasonably priced and you just pop in and buy them
you can stay in the republic of Cyprus and drive over the checkpoint to get to the clinic it is €30 I believe to take a hire car over, I have stayed in Nicosia both the north side and south, I find the south better Nicosia is very very hot in summer months, I have also stayed in pafos, larnaka, ayia napa and Limassol area whilst having treatment they are all a drive away and vary from one hour to two hours if you are in the warmer months the coast is better and get a hire car they are very cheep and the drive on the same side of the road as the UK
the staff are lovely and will help you at every step I would recommend get your GP and sexual health clinic to do all your bloods as it saves so much money

Hello can anyone tell me what is best vitamin to take during the IVF treatment

@tricee2026 you pay for your treatment once you are at the clinic after tests and scans.
Medication does not get shipped,you will only be given the medication you require before arriving at the clinic, you get a prescription through email which they will also give you a online pharmacist where you can buy from... once you get to the clinic the remaining medication that they require you to take will be given to you over there.
Regarding weather we went in the minth of July and it was hot really hot, but they advise to stay out of the heat so you dont over heat.. to stay cool.
I did not take any vitamins just the medication I was required to take.
