@camelinastorm hi hun sorry to disturb you, I'm just after a little advice,
So I had my transfer on Tuesday at 9am 3 x blastocyst embroys and today is Thursday, sometimes I feel alittle niggling pain in my lower stomach, nothing intence I just know it's there, I've been doing all my medication and injections, is this normal, x

camelinastorm · 18/07/2024 09:11

@Bubble37 aww this is great news you have had your transfer, and 3 that's amazing, I would say that's a positive sign my previous pregnancies I had this, my failed transfer I had nothing 🤞🏼🤞🏼 for you 🙏🏼
How did it go?
I'm back in 3 weeks cannot wait x

Bubble37 · 18/07/2024 09:24

@camelinastorm thankyou very much, I'm just praying all is OK, the 1 injection burns has the liquid goes in,

Tranfer was very quick I was told I have 7 blastocyst, so transfered 3 and froze 5 at 900 euros. All over on 10 minutes. Got a 7 second video of the embro transfer.

Medication I didn't buy from the hospital, it would of cost 1500 euro but I went to the chemist over the road and paid £738 english pound. So a massive saving.

Weather is extremely hot at the moment.

How did you find going to the toilet for a number 2, scared to stain lol

When did you test? Xx

Bubble37 · 18/07/2024 09:25

Sorry frozen 4 xx

camelinastorm · 18/07/2024 11:15

@Bubble37 wow that's a great number so glad you managed to freeze some also.

Yes we bought from a pharmacy also we paid in lira so no idea what we paid 🤣

The blood thinners I found stung so bad and also bruised bad,
Yes my friends are saying the heat isn't the best, when I lived there we stayed indoors over summer 🤣
Was the clinic busy ? It was soooo busy in may, I'm guessing as it's just before the extreme heat
I tested on day 10 but I had a feeling it had failed as no niggles no nothing, I believe it was due to me having severe loose bowls the day after transfer, I felt so ill think that caused issues for me

Bubble37 · 18/07/2024 11:46

@camelinastorm
Yeah the blood thiner hurts its like a burn inside, did you do ivf at this clinic before then on your previous ivf that worked?
If so did it work 1st time, how many embroys did you transfer and what was the outcome ie number of babies

I have been experiencing today niggling period like mild cramps. Make me worried and think of a period.

No it wasn't very busy a few couples from arround the world, got seen quick quickly, was at the clinic at 9am on Tuesday and had my transfer at 10.10.

The only thing I found strange was
I had 10 eggs, 9 fertilizated 2 stopped growing and 7 full blastocysts, but they don't give you agrade.s to the blastocysts.

Im looking forward to coming back home to Birmingham just to cool off lol I'm so hot,

I'm just hoping this transfer works

I'm wish you all the best with your ivf in 3 weeks I will pray for you x

Sorry to hear you was ill last time xx

camelinastorm · 18/07/2024 14:04

My previous pregnancy was not IVF we have now got male factor due to issues he had so low quality sperm
Wow that's great timings
I'd say that's normal as my first round (UK so not this clinic ) I got 9 only 2 made it to day 5 they say the drop off normally is 60% so you did amazing, they didn't give me grades but said they were good, I think me being ill caused implatation failure tbh
When do you fly back that's the only issue with going on the summer months it's the heat, I was tempted to wait until October but childcare (as we are leaving them at home this time) is only available for us in August

Bubble37 · 20/07/2024 09:58

@camelinastorm
We are back at home now, flight was delayed by 3 hours due to the world wide outage.
Just a quick question, I know I should be testing but when I got home at 4am this morning I just did a rapid response dueto be keeping going to the toilet for a wee. The test I used was rapid response and I hot a pink faint line but I only had the embroys transfered on Tuesday is this even possible ir am I going mad xx

camelinastorm · 20/07/2024 11:00

@Bubble37 omg yes that definitely could be a positive 😍😍

Bubble37 · 20/07/2024 20:17

@camelinastorm help lol clear blue digital says pregnant 1-2 , what's going on could that be because more embroys implanted????

camelinastorm · 20/07/2024 21:35

I think they say that from any first positive , 3-4 weeks this early would be strange.

Super congratulations to you this is amazing xx

camelinastorm · 23/07/2024 15:22

@Bubble37 hi, just checking in, have you tested again x

Bubble37 · 23/07/2024 15:22

@camelinastorm I've done another digital today and now it says 2-3 that's got to be a good sign hasn't it?
Also I have a dull ache that's comes and goes x

Bubble37 · 23/07/2024 15:25

@camelinastorm I think we was messaging each other at the same time lol

Bubble37 · 23/07/2024 15:28

@camelinastorm
I booked in with my doctors, but they won't scan me until 12 weeks so I've booked private to have a scan, it's booked for the 17th next mouth xx

camelinastorm · 23/07/2024 16:10

@Bubble37 how ironic yes both at the same time, and oh wow that definitely a good sign, super congratulations to you this is amazing news xx so happy for you

Bubble37 · 26/07/2024 16:33

@camelinastorm I'm worried, today when wiping I had pinkish blood in the tissue paper with mild cramps, I'm worried I really am, have you experienced anything like this and still been pregnant xx

camelinastorm · 26/07/2024 16:43

@Bubble37 yes I had the very light spotting with my previous pregnancies, I think it's when it's implanting further, it was a good sign, my failed ones I had nothing at all

Bubble37 · 26/07/2024 16:50

@camelinastorm thankyou for getting back to me so quickly, and I'm sorry for taking up your time, it's nice speaking to someone who has gone through the same, as Google gives you so many negatives xx

camelinastorm · 26/07/2024 18:45

@Bubble37 don't be sorry ask anything you want so happy for you, I start next week it's given me hope seeing your positive 😍

Bubble37 · 26/07/2024 18:52

@camelinastorm I wish you all the very best, I'm still very scared about the bleeding, I just did another test clear blue with the cross and the test line that goes down is really dark, but I'm still thinking am I losing this pregnancy I'm so scared and panicking about this xxx

camelinastorm · 26/07/2024 19:14

@Bubble37 if you are worried you can always go through to your early pregnancy unit at the local hospital they will see you

Bubble37 · 01/08/2024 07:48

@camelinastorm just got last night my 3+ on a digital clear blue. Bleeding stopped after 2 days and nothing since, I've got a scan booked on the 17th do will be 7 weeks pregnant, feel a little sicky but no sick and nipples are sore.

camelinastorm · 01/08/2024 08:47

@Bubble37 aww wow this is amazing !!!!!! So so happy for you cannot wait for an update from your scan 🙂

I start injections on Saturday for collection 14th August transfer if all goes well the 19th.
If you have any tips for after transfer it would be great, i seem to get excellent embryos but failed implantation.
After seeing your success we wish we had done donor eggs this time, we were going to but I was struggling to find information on the donor route
Once again super happy for you the weeks going up is excellent xx its crazy it's so hard to get beta bloods done

Bubble37 · 04/08/2024 09:24

@camelinastorm
So my thickness of the lining was 16mm 3 days before transfer, I was on 2 x estrofen morning 2 x estrofem evening and 1 x vaginally.
I was on 4 times progesterone pessaries. 100mg asprin, 5mg folic acid, pregnol x 1 a day to stop my immune system so wouldn't kill embroys. And monodoks 100mg anitibiotiv 1 week before transfer.
Metformin x 2 100mg 2 morning 2 evening

After transfer I rested that day but the next day we went on a private boat trip at
Girne (Kyrenia) Castle. Then the remaining days I stayed in due to the weather being extremely hot. The medication I had after transfer was
Folic acid5mg x 1 daily
Metform 2 x daily
Enox/clexane injection 1 daily
Prolutex 50mg injection daily
Progesterone pessaries 4 x daily
Estrofem 5 x daily same as before tranfer

I didn't change my eating habits and continuing to drink my tea milky tho,
I don't drink alcohol so that wasn't a issue.

I just stook to all my medication at the same time every day even tho it ment me getting out of bed to do it early then back to bed lol

I arrived home 4 days after transfer and I had another week of work before returning.

I don't do no lifting, pulling ect.
As you know I tested possitive 1st time 4 days after transfer.

I had 3 embroys blastocyst put back in
And 4 frozen.

I used donor eggs as my amh level was 0.7 pmol which I was told was not very good and my changes of success would be extremely low so instead of trying and wasting money I opt for donor egg.

The process was really easy and straight forward,

I told the clinic when I wanted to start treatment they find you 3 donors matching what you look like and you get to choose, once chosen the donor goes through egg collection and you start medication at home, then 4 weeks after you arrive in cyprus have a scan the next day to ensure your lining is thick enough then the following week eggs are collected feom the donor and your told to be at the clinic with partner for sperm sample, more medication is given the 5 days wait then embroy transfer, so it was straight forward really.

We had 10 eggs
10 fertilized
3 didn't make it past day 3
So we had 7 blastocyst on day 5
Transfered 3 so left 4 to freeze

I wish you all the best and fingers crossed for you.

Once I've had my scan on Saturday Saturday 17th I will update you.

If you need anything then please let me know xxx
