Hi has anyone been here for IVF treatment.
my husband and I are looking at treatment abroad we currently have a 6 year old who we had through the NHS Scotland but want to extend our family.

Bit anxious about booking tests and medication etc, and also losing this dreaded weight. I know i can do it i done it for my daughter, my husband has low sperm count so this is why were seeking treatment.

@Bubble37 hope you're doing ok, I am due to go to my scan tomorrow, just currently sat having food and a cheeky wine to relax as super nervous, I don't feel any different (know you didn't do the stimulation drugs so different to your trip)

@camelinastorm hi I'm fine thankyou, looking forward to my scan Saturday, I keep getting dull pains in my lower stomach, I think this is normal!! Hi, it went ok have about 10 folicles, just having to do one more day of injections so egg collection and then transfer has been put back a day which isn't ideal but is ok

@Bubble37 hope your scan went well, I'm having a big of a predicament so they ideally want to freeze all of my embryos die to thick lining meaning I need to come back for just the transfer similar to you, how long did you stay, where did you stay as I'm guessing I only need to be over for like 2 days so want to be close

@camelinastorm hi went for my scan I jave tripplets 3 babies 3 heart beats 7 weeks 2 days, I can't believe it,

Awww why was your lining to thick, what mm was it xxx

@Bubble37 oh my god that is amazing !!!! Super super congratulations to you this is great news !! So super happy for you literally sat in a restaurant and told my hubby we are both so happy for you X sending hugs and huge congratulations 🎉

So today so say 2 my lining is 16mm and irregular she has said, Dr F recommended freeze all and come back after next month she has said I can go ahead with this fresh transfer if I want but her advice is to wait

@camelinastorm please don't wait my lining was 16mm and its worked for me on 3 x 5 fay blastocyst, how many blastocyst do you have,

Aww thankyou bother I'm sooo scared, what are my chances of losing this pregnancy with heart beats?

@Bubble37 ohh that's good to hear about your lining, it's just such a hard decision, I have 10 that have fertilised, find out if the made it to blast on Monday (when I need to choose what we are doing )

You are fit and healthy the little beans are strong and you are doing well 3 strong heartbeats is amazing x

@Ken74 did you end up going back for FET

Hi, yes I went back in April but was unsuccessful. We had used all our embryos so had to start the whole process again. I went back again this month and I have just had a positive test 🥰.....I've had one blood test and I'm getting another on Wednesday to check the hcg levels are rising as they should be.
I hope it all works out for you 🙏

@Ken74 oh congratulations that's amazing news, it so hard as they want the best for me I feel great and would love a fresh transfer this month but then feel why would they offer frozen if it wasn't needed as it's no extra cost to me, I hate decisions like this

@camelinastorm it is a hard decision especially after going all the way out there for the fresh transfer. I've never had a fresh transfer because our embyos are always tested. Maybe they can scan you again and check the lining on Monday?

@Bubble37 so they wouldn't re scan me I ended up with only 4 blastocysts so we decided to freeze all and go in a few months.
How are you feeling ?

@camelinastorm 1 good thing you have 4 blastocyst, how many are transfering when you return, I'm feeling good so far, my belly is a little swallow lol, and I sometimes get a dull heavy pain in my stomac, I have an appointment at the doctors on the 2nd of September to see the midwife, but other than that I'm great thankyou, I'm so sorry they wouldn't scan you xxxxxx

@Bubble37 yes did wish we had 5 as wanted to freeze a 3 and a 2 together but had to do a 2 and a 2 so only 2 will be implanted each time but also gives me 2 shots
Ohh exciting times for the midwife appointment, do they know it's an IVF pregnancy?

@Bubble37 tbh I'm fine about the none rescan, she must be pretty confident it wasn't a good idea for this time as the freezing and the next transfer are free so technically she would have been financially better off just sticking them in today and it not working

@camelinastorm yes they know I've had ivf.
So happy you have 4 some people don't get any blastocysts. You have 2 attempts at least.
I'm still in shock still trying to digest the news of 3 babies.

When are you traveling back home?

@Bubble37 we fly back Thursday no not tonight, I have seen Toni floating about loads though
Ahh at least they know it's IVF and it shouldn't be too much of a shock when they find out there is three snuggled in there

@camelinastorm well last night I was admitted to a&e because I had really bad bleeding ans pain they scanned me this morning and the babies are still there with heartbeats... I've stopped bleeding just brown now but a little pain they said they seen blood on the ultrasound. And they sent me home, I don't really know what's going on but the babies are fine, do you know any information about this hun xxxx

@camelinastorm I went for a scan yesterday and they said the 2rd baby that was small no long has a heart beat, I'm heartbroken, there classing it as twins 💔

@camelinastorm I was ment to say the 3rd baby ^

@Bubble37 so sorry just seen your message, we went on a quiet break to process we will have to wait until November/December to transfer.
