Hi has anyone been here for IVF treatment.
my husband and I are looking at treatment abroad we currently have a 6 year old who we had through the NHS Scotland but want to extend our family.

Bit anxious about booking tests and medication etc, and also losing this dreaded weight. I know i can do it i done it for my daughter, my husband has low sperm count so this is why were seeking treatment.

Hi, we are thinking of using Dr F's clinic. Where did you stay? We were thinking of staying in Nicosia and getting a taxi over the border for appointments. Just wondering what is best as haven't bee to Cyprus before. Thanks

We have been twice, first time we stayed at the Lords Palace in Kyrenia and the second time we stayed at the Grand Pasha in Nicosia but on the Northern side.

I’m not sure I would recommend travelling over the border for appointments, as there can sometimes be long delays.

We booked the package through the hospital. This meant they booked our accommodation and we used their transport facilities. This way you get picked up from the airport and from your hotel for all your hospital appointments. All we then had to book ourselves was the flights.

We hired a car while in Nicosia and went exploring so I guess it all depends what you are looking for and what time of year you will be going.

Hi, we were very happy with Dr F and Miracle Hospital. I did get pregnant but unfortunately miscarried. We are going back again soon. They did a few things differently from my previous clinic and it made a difference.

I know it’s hard but try stay positive both.

@maria2018 Dr F and her team are amazing. We had 5 failed attempts in the UK. We had 2 transfers with Dr F and thankfully the 2nd transfer was a success. Their medical protocols and approach is very different to the UK, it is very much tailored to your fertility needs. I couldn’t recommend them enough. I know several people now that have used Miracle IVF and been successful. I hope this helps, if there is anything else you wish to know, just ask.

@Simoneroberts007 I'm so happy for you! Thank you so much for taking time to reply. Im stuck between Miracle IVF and Team Z. How would you rate the hospital /clinic? Im nervous on making the wrong choice in regards to clinic.

@maria2018 the clinic is a nice private clinic. All staff were friendly and the process was explained in detail at each stage. Each time you visit the clinic for bloods, scans, transfer etc. you are seen by Dr F, so it’s a very personal service. I honestly couldn’t fault them. I’m still in touch with the Patient Coordinator now. She often messages asking how we’re getting on, which I think is lovely, and shows they care.

Did anyone go with team miracle? After failed attempts in the UK and unable to find another 9k round and the lower rates of success we are looking at overseas team miracle have been excellent communicatiors for the pre info, does anyone have advice on starting this process

Hi, yes I'm booked in for July, I've already had my pre medication sent to me with a table of when and how to take. The accommodation I've booked was through Airbnb. I'm unable to use my own eggs so have used and chose a donor. Communication is brilliant I have my own Coordinator Jess. You can have if you choose 3 embryos transfered but here in the UK it's only 1. In all I've paid with flights, hire care, medication, ivf, donor eggs €10,000 euros. I know I will have tonpay for medication after my 3 embro transfers which is up to €1500. I've been waiting 10 years for this to come arround and finally it's happening. Have you had any communication with team miracle bt Dr Firdevs x

@Bubble37 that's great news , we are looking for may, how did you go about getting your meds, I am struggling to find a pharmacist that can accept it, also how did you go about the list of tests that are required, I have had a all the phase one tests done it's the phase 2 there is loads. They seem really promising, and yes I like the idea you can personally choose to have 2 placed back and not have to sit a board like the UK

Hi I was sent a prescription from the clinic through email and there's a link in that email to a pharmacy in the UK that will do the meds. You email your prescription, pay and then they get delivered. All the blood test required me and my husband are having them done at the clinic in Cyprus. We will be in cypris for 12 days in total. Have you already booked and have your prescription and medication protocol?

The protocol is getting sorted this week, just waiting my most recent bloods getting sent over to them. Were they quite flexible with you and your dates, I was hoping to work of my natural cycle so set dates

That's good, we'll it's a little different for me as I'm using donor eggs, so me and the donor will sync are cycles so there the same using Microgynon so are periods will be the same. I'm not to sure they use natural cycle but it's best to ask these questions to you coordinator so you have peice of mind. How long will you be staying in cyprus?

@Bubble37 all my bloods and tests have been accepted, we are booked in for may, we are quite excited the team seem great and good at communicating. Are you staying on the north side or the south ? We were going to try do this next cycle but now blending it with a proper holiday
