ABC - FET due to oestrogen levels

Hi everyone
I have been chatting in another ABC thread but don't want to take over the chat with this new query I have.

I'm just coming to the end of my stims (trigger tonight) and having egg collection on Monday. My oestrogen levels have shot up and I have to have a frozen transfer (nurse said if it wasn't for covid I could have had fresh but they have lower thresholds in place at the moment).

My questions are basically about the process. We obviously paid the £2500 inclusive price. We had already paid an extra £995 for freezing embryos with the hope we get some for future use, we now have to pay £1050 extra for the frozen transfer plus we have to pay for more meds (nurse said tablets) anyone had to do this and can tell me what they paid so I have an idea please?

I'm assuming we can go ahead with the FET my next cycle? Can anyone give me any insight into the process/procedure/timescales please? I'm unfortunately one of those people who like a clear plan in their head.

Also I had my transfer Wednesday and they r bringing me in for bloods next Friday doesn’t that seem to soon? That’s only like 9days x

They might be to give you an indication as blood tests can detect low levels of HCG. Yes I'm waiting to start the FET medication after they give me the go ahead. How did you find the London clinic? It's quite hard to get through to them but the actual nurses are so lovely.

Aww I found they were so lovely and kind really helpful but sometimes lacked a bit of communication but apart from that they were great with me x

@Mellow89 hey I am ok very tired had head ake back ake lol and I am very bloated with cramps but I don’t think this is a good sign 😭

Hi @Mellow89 ... I'm good. Still waiting for period to make an appearance 🙄 How are you?

@Preston12 ... my best friend thought her period was coming constantly during her 2ww due to similar symptoms and she's now 23 weeks pregnant Smile I know it's easy for me to say as I'm not in your position yet, but don't give up hope ❤

Hey @StarryHannah. I think I'm ovulating right now ( a week letter than expected) so I think my period will arrive a week later now. Hopefully you one will arrive in the next few days !Smile

Hey all I have my blood test and results this Friday that will be 9days after transfer I just don’t feel hopeful at all I don’t a test yesterday and today and both negative anyone have any uplifting stories?? X

Hey@Preston12. Don't give up hope! I know a lot of people who had a negative but it showed up in bloods! It's still quite early on and I think abc are also testing early. I have everything crossed for you 🤞

Hey @StarryHannah - did you end up having your period yet? I thought I ovulated but went for my baseline and they said I have a 14mm follicle so I might ovulate soon...Confused.

@Mellow89 started spotting last night but full flow hasn't come just yet. From the period pains it's due any moment though so that should make day 1 tomorrow if it comes as it normally would. That will make it 9 days late to give you an idea of expectations. I'm feeling excited now xxx

@Preston12 I bet you're going out of your mind. I was bad enough when i was told to expect day 5 embryo update call between 11 and 12 but they didn't call til gone 3. Sending you a big hug xxx

@StarryHannah just can’t stop crying partner Dosent wana go through it again as he says he is to old now gutted really am he would make such a amazing dad to x I am truly heartbroken
