After my disappointing chemical Pregnancy for fet#1 I’m now gearing for fet#2, put my last frostie back, which I think will be just before Christmas making test day at clinic for bloods on around NYE

Starting down reg with buserlin before progynova starts around start of December. Here’s hoping I get a Christmas miracle 🤞🎄

@Wesstywoo @Yorkshirehope @WorriedButterfly thanks ladies. I've never altered my meds and the docs just keep me on the same protocol so I'm going to ask them to try something new next time. I'm going to ask for a follow up appointment when I go to test on Monday, I never know what to ask so I'll definitely seek your advice before I meet the doc otherwise I just crumble and agree to whatever they recommend. I need to be more assertive with them. If they're putting back good 5 day blastocysts each time then why aren't they sticking??? My husband said this morning for the first time we could maybe start thinking about adoption, as he doesn't want to see me go through this again but I'm not ready to give up yet. Thanks ladies for your support, fingers crossed for all of you 😘😘😘

@spacegirl123 I’m so sorry hun, Please be kind to yourself. After your ET were you on just the cyclogest or any other meds too?

A friend of mine was on prednisolone which finally helped with bfp, she’s 43 too and had two miscarriage before. Also clexane or heparin blood thinners are meant to with implantation.

@Kitkat369 Thank you xx I am on Utrogestan 200mg pessaries 3× per day and it has been the same for each of my cycles so I'm definitely going to push them to change things up the next time. I've also had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy after my first round so there's something stopping them from sticking 😞 I can't wait until Monday to down a bottle of wine, have a scorching hot bath and eat an entire dominos pizza.

Kitkat369 · 06/12/2019 17:17

@spacegirl123 definitely worth pushing them to change meds leading up/post transfer.

Defo worth having a treat 🙂

How’s everyone doing in the TWW? I have a week to go... does that make it the OWW? 😉 ( need to smile to keep my mind off it)

Jem01 · 09/12/2019 16:38

Thursday is OTD for me. Really wish I just knew what the result is. Have started breaking out a sign AF is on its way so feeling doubtful..how is everyone else doing?

fllinn · 10/12/2019 19:07

@spacegirl123 I'm so sorry to hear that 😞

@Jem01 are you planning a sneaky FRER in advance of OTD?

My OTD was yesterday and I had my BFP confirmed by the clinic blood test 👍 Now I just have to hope and pray that this little one sticks and thrives.

Jem01 · 10/12/2019 19:30

@fllinn fantastic news! So pleased to see some good news on here Smile

No, holding out until Thursday 2 more sleeps to go!

fllinn · 10/12/2019 20:20

@Jem01 ah you're a stronger woman than me, well done!

Wesstywoo · 10/12/2019 21:52

Congratulations @fllinn! X

fllinn · 10/12/2019 22:07

Thank you 😊😊😊

Yorkshirehope · 11/12/2019 16:01

Day 9 post 5dET and have spotting - exactly what happened last time. Sad/angry/gutted all in one. 😔

TTCRose · 11/12/2019 20:59

Congratulations @fllinn

Girls...I'm 5dp2dt and really symptom spotting. Feeling tired today but just think it's due to working quite a lot recently. Also getting occasional cramps. oh and some spots but guessing that's progesterone 🤔

So want to test but as it's an early transfer i know there's no point and my transfer didn't go exactly to plan!

Anyone in or been in a similar situation?

Oh and with testing what do you think is best...pee directly onto test or pee into container and dip test in?

X

lucyinthe · 13/12/2019 14:10

Hi ladies, I'm 9dp5dt and had some really light pink spotting this morning. Had mild cramps on and off this week but now have lower back ache. So upset. Then stupidly I've just done a FRER, middle of the day only held my wee for an hour and shock it was BFN. I know I shouldn't have done it 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway just needed to rant, opinions and telling offs for testing too early welcome!

shazzz1xx · 13/12/2019 14:16

Sorry to hear that @lucyinthe I’m was the same could never wait until.. but I don’t think you have tested too early.. my positive test was only 7dp3dt and with the line on the test been clear im certain it would have been a positive the day before too or even 5dp3dt.. but everybody and every pregnancy is different.... have you tested with a clear blue that has the pregnant word or the weeks window... I swear by them

lucyinthe · 13/12/2019 15:08

Hi @shazzz1xx no I used a first response. Don't know if testing halfway through the day has made a difference but I've got another to do Sunday morning so will leave it till then and use first morning urine. But prepared myself for the worst and psyching myself up for using one of our frozen embies in the new year.
