After my disappointing chemical Pregnancy for fet#1 I’m now gearing for fet#2, put my last frostie back, which I think will be just before Christmas making test day at clinic for bloods on around NYE

Starting down reg with buserlin before progynova starts around start of December. Here’s hoping I get a Christmas miracle 🤞🎄

Wow thanks great list! Sorry to hear about your mmc 😞

I have warm socks at the ready and lots of comedies lined up to watch, food prepped and mum ready to bring over more meals if I run out! Had planned to go back to work on Friday but I will see how I feel.

Thanks so much x

Hello Oldandsad, have you read ‘it’s all about the egg’? I’ve been on 10 of the supplements and got better results the second time. The lab is really important too. Have a look at British Cyprus Ivf in northern cyprus. Best of luck, infertility is shit :(

Wesstywoo · 04/12/2019 09:43

Good luck today @TTCRose xx

TTCRose · 04/12/2019 10:02

@Wesstywoo thank you! Good luck to you too! They managed to get 2 eggs. So fingers crossed! X

WorriedButterfly · 04/12/2019 10:18

Jem01 · 04/12/2019 17:11

Great news @TTCRose and @Wesstywoo and it’s so true it really does only take one. Fingers crossed this one fertilises

Just over a week to go until OTD have Xmas parties on Saturday and Monday wish they were the week after instead so I know whether to celebrate or drown my sorrows...

HJF84 · 04/12/2019 17:54

@Wesstywoo @TTCRose Congrats! Everyone is right, it does only take one. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for fertilised eggs for you 🤞🏼

TTCRose · 05/12/2019 09:12

Thanks @HJF84 @Jem01

Wesstywoo · 05/12/2019 10:12

Thanks HJF84

@TTCRose I am fine this morning thank you - no ill effects from EC at all. How are you feeling?

Glad to hear you have a fertilised egg Smile my one egg has fertilised too, next update is on Saturday

WorriedButterfly · 05/12/2019 10:55

Well done ladies! 👍🏼🤞🏼

I'm booked in for ET on Saturday. Feeling nervous, but one day at a time and all that! X

TTCRose · 05/12/2019 12:01

@Wesstywoo ah that's amazing! 🤞🏻I'm feeling fine. Got a little like tenderness in my abdomen more today than yesterday but not affecting me doing anything!

@WorriedButterfly not long to wait now! How many eggs did you get collected?

Any hints/tips for egg transfer anyone?! X

Yorkshirehope · 05/12/2019 14:38

@TTCRose Good luck for ET . My top tips are firstly, it's ok that it is quick! All over in less than 10 mins and back out the door. Second is don't panic about peeing - they make you have a super full bladder and therefore straight after you'll need to pee. Even though it makes no sense - I panicked about peeing something out! ( I know know... it's not possible) but hey your head makes you think crazy things. It's probably the nicest part of the whole process, your other half can join you and you get to see the embryo together and watch it be put back in. So best advice is to enjoy it and relax afterwards thinking happy thoughts x

WorriedButterfly · 05/12/2019 16:03

Hi @TTCRose I got 3 eggs fertilised (out of 5) they're still progressing so hopefully we'll get to Saturday- it's been a long week!

Wesstywoo · 05/12/2019 16:17

@WorriedButterfly 3 still going is brilliant! Good luck for Saturday xx

spacegirl123 · 05/12/2019 17:10

@TTCRose like @Yorkshirehope says, just enjoy it. If you can with your partner, plan something nice (if you don't have to go back to work) like lunch, the cinema, a wee snuggle on the sofa and just enjoy imagining the future 🤗 it's the best part of this whole bloody process!

WorriedButterfly · 05/12/2019 18:22

I've started to feel a bit like I might be getting a chest infection- does anyone know whether they will cancel ET (or whether I should cancel?) x

fllinn · 05/12/2019 20:43

Ladies help is this real? I had my trigger shot (Ovitrelle 250) Saturday before last, so 12 days ago I think. Now I have a BFP. Is this the trigger shot still or is it real? I was testing out trigger with cheapies and only got BFP for a few days but obviously FRER is a lot more sensitive than the cheapies.

Nov/Dec-Anyone starting IVF/Fet?
lucyinthe · 05/12/2019 21:28

Wow @fllinn I'm sure trigger shot would be well out of your system by now so must be a real result? When is your OTD?

I had ET yesterday and been feeling so emotional today don't know if it's the cycolgest or if I'm just being a psycho but had a melt down having dinner because my boyf said the potatoes weren't cooked properly! Told him he should have cooked his own dinner then I couldn't stop crying for 20 mins 😩😂

lucyinthe · 05/12/2019 21:30

@WorriedButterfly I had a throat infection leading up to ET yesterday I told the clinic they said it wouldnt effect things. I would give them a call anyway just to check x

spacegirl123 · 06/12/2019 07:25

Hello ladies. My period started this morning, I was due to test on Monday. I'm just sat here, broken, I don't know what to do next 😢 I've been diagnosed with unexplained infertility but had five failed IVFs so every time just makes me feel even more that there's something wrong with me , and I don't know how to fix it, and I just feel like I'm letting everyone down 😢 my husband is so amazing but I just feel if he was with someone else he'd have kids by now. I feel so low 😞

Wesstywoo · 06/12/2019 08:05

I'm so sorry to hear this @spacegirl123, I know it's utterly heartbreaking. Sending big hugs xxx what are you on in terms of luteal support? This happened to me on my first round (despite still testing positive on OTD but sadly it wasn't to be) so this time they're trying progesterone injections as well as pessaries

Yorkshirehope · 06/12/2019 08:07

I’m so sorry to hear that @spacegirl123 xx My thoughts are with you x

WorriedButterfly · 06/12/2019 10:35

I'm sorry @spacegirl123. Take time to look after yourself. Have you looked into prednisolone at all or progesterone? Thanks
