Our old clomid thread is no longer allowing new comments, and it's taken me 24 hours and multiple failed comments to understand why - we filled it up So thought I'd start a new one...

When did you ladies ovulate? I'm on CD13 and on 'high' on clear blue for 2 days. Took clomid days 2-6. Thought I'd see peak by now. Still feel horrendous this eve, had to nap after work.

I was CD 15 @lori2019 I had quiet strong lines from CD9 but darkest on 15

@lori2019 I ovulated day 15 this cycle, hopefully you're only a day or two away.

Cd25 for me today, I'll be testing on Thurs but not feeling very hopeful. Then it'll be onto IVF for me the following week!

Thanks @Marmite83 & @Jemstar33 I tested again this morning still flashing smiley face but the line is much darker than yesterday.

I hope this feeling crap passes when I ovulate. I hadn't taken hormonal contraceptives in years as I never reacted well to them. So I'm guessing my body isn't happy with the clomid either.

I haven’t been on any contraception for years either and think my body had hormone overload but it was more achy breasts etc. I haven’t had a lot of feeling crappy thankfully.

Yesterday I was so bloated and emotional but mostly for happy things. Like the two bfp’s 😃

Is anyone else in their TTW? I’m 9 days from OTD

@seven201 sorry the scan didn't go well.
I have pcos and they put me on clomid. Don't know much about ovarian drilling though. Hope you're ok.
Definitely say what you want whilst you're there, especially as you're paying xx

Has anyone using cb opks gone from circle one day (yesterday) to solid smiley (today CD15) with no flashing smiley in between? Should I be concerned?

@Jemstar33 yes, we have, think we need to BD tonight. This scheduled BD'ing really ruins the romance. Think we need a date night out to take the pressure off.

@Kelly199 I had that happen a few months ago. I looked into it at the time and found quite a few posts from people who had the same thing. Some got bfp that cycle and some didn't so I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Thank you @Kelly199 . Do you do anything else to manage your pcos as I've read some people eat less carbs to help. I'm in the healthy weight category, just, but maybe I should try and lose some weight as I've read reducing your weight by 5% can help with pcos. Problem is is I'm a comfort eater and now I feel stressed and need comfort!

I wouldn't worry that it's gone from circle to solid smiley. Just have sex today, tomorrow and maybe the day after.

@seven201 Aside from having polycystic ovaries, I don't have many of the other things like the facial hair obesity etc. Just that before Clomid, possible irregular ovulation as it was later on in the cycle than they thought? So not sure if that makes it mild?
I did start eating really healthy for couple of months, but got fed up and felt stressed with doing it and no results, so this month I've just been eating whatever I want (home cooked meals, but some snacks if I want and fruit/veg).
Haven't really reduced carbs.
Have a read of It Starts With The Egg. It tells you a lot about what to take and what not to. Says what's good for pcos too.
I'm currently taking proceive max women and inositol, NAC and extra vitamin D.
There's loads you can take, so got to draw the line somewhere because of the expense! Xx

@Kelly199, I wouldn’t worry about the sudden change in opk. I generally use the pink ones (that don’t have a flashing smiley), because the flashing can be confusing and stressful.

I still haven’t gotten that positive opk since I saw my 18mm follicle on Friday at the scan. I’ve rang the clinic and they’ve agreed to do another scan this afternoon.

Hopefully that follicle is just taking it's time and will be ready to pop soon.

@jesskir89 TWW means the two week wait as in the wait between ovulation and af being due.

@doomkittycleo that's great they're seeing you this afternoon. Let us know how it goes. I'm glad your daughter's appointment is tomorrow. My dd had health concerns that she has recently outgrown most of. It's very stressful to deal with, especially when you add in ttc stress! Everything crossed for her x

I gave in and POAS.... BFN!
CD 26 and 13dpt and potentially only 10dpo.

Cramping continuing and a tiny bit of spotting this morning so I’m thinking AF is well on her way!

Same to you @Jesskir89 what day did you ovulate?

So I had another scan and the follicle on my left ovary is now 28.5mm and the one on my left is 17.5mm.

The nurse said the larger one didn’t appear to be a cyst and will most likely go soon, but also said there’s a chance that the 17.5mm one will take over as the dominant one.

She said the larger one could become a cyst, but it looks unlikely at this stage.

She just said to keep using the opks and if no surge by Friday, to come in again.

Ugh I’m so frustrated.

What’s your CD now @doomkittycleo? What happens if you surge before Friday, do you still have to go?

@Jemstar33 I don't use ovulation sticks any more just go off 7 to 10 days after last chlomid tablet which was about 11 to 14 days ago. @doomkittycleo I've not had any scans so it's all new to me this
