Our old clomid thread is no longer allowing new comments, and it's taken me 24 hours and multiple failed comments to understand why - we filled it up So thought I'd start a new one...

@jemstar33 that's half the problem plus a few different people in the field told me they're not 100 percent accurate either. I just make sure we BD every other day for most of the month just to make sure

Hi Ladies, hope you don’t mind me jumping in too?
Bit of background.. TTC for 5 years from 2011, lots of tests found I have PCOS so finally prescribed Letrozole in 2016. 1 miscarriage in April 16’ but managed to conceive in Jul 17’ with my rainbow baby who is now just over 2yrs old.
Never went back on any contraception or used protection following baby but never conceived. Went private for Letrozole and finished on day 7 (4 jun). Cycles have been very regular for last 6+months but following first cycle of Letrozole I’m now 12 days overdue. Has anybody else experienced such late AF following taking Letrozole? Never happened last time.

I did a test last Thursday which came back BFN.

Please bear with me, I’m not used to all the acronyms!! 🙂

I've just had my scan appointment. She thinks there is a 'tiny' cyst in my endometrium which I have to come back to have checked next week. She did fleetingly mention it could be a pregnancy sack but said it was an incredibly slim chance as I had a period 17 days ago, she said its 99% chance it's a cyst.

She said there is a collection of fluid which indicates that either a) I've ovulated yesterday or the day before or b) it's the remnants of an infection so I'm not sure I feel any clearer about it all to be honest.

@lori2019 I've felt horrendous on Letrazole too but I'm on cd11 now and feeling mainly back to myself so I'm pleased about that. The scheduled dtd is def so unromantic 😏

My scan was ok. I've got a 22mm follicle ready to ovulate any time but also a couple of endometriomas, urgh. Got to dtd regularly and then have a blood test next thur to confirm ovulation. She said my womb looked really good, nice lining. I asked about the spotting. She said to just keep an eye on it. Didn't seem overly concerned.

Welcome @Sarttc I’m on my first cycle of clomid so I can’t help either sorry. Have you been monitored, have your scans shown anything?

@Jemstar33 I’m only on CD10, but I’ve been ovulating really early on clomid.

I don’t actually have to go to the clinic at all. The private clinic are doing scans “off the record” to try and reassure me.

It’s usually £500 per cycle, but they said as long as I don’t tell their main clinic they can do one cycle of scans. Only thing is because it’s “off the record”, they can’t offer a trigger shot.

@Jemstar33 I was having follicle tracking (day 10 & 24) but the largest follicle only grew to 15mm so nurse basically said I haven't ovulated this month and to increase to 10mg pd next cycle. I just wish the cycle would hurry up and start!

It's all just a waiting game I guess! x

That’s good of them to do it @doomkittycleo I hadn’t even heard of the shot before but seem to work for both ladies who just got their bfp. I may have a look at that too

@doomkittycleo try not to feel disappointed as it sounds like it could all go well still. Good you've got the option of another scan if needed.

@Pinktruffle how frustrating. I hate it when you leave an appointment more confused than when you went in! Hopefully it will prove to be nothing.

@Sarttc welcome. Maybe you're just having a one off random cycle. Clomid shortened my cycle but tamoxifen (I'm half way through first cycle) seems to have slowed it down possibly. I think they can affect everyone a bit differently.

@Jemstar33 my clinic charges £21 for the ovulation stimulation injection (ovatrelle) and I would definitely recommend!

My opk has finally gone “almost” positive. I was borderline on whether to consider it a positive or not, but I checked again with the clear blue one and that came up as negative.

Hopefully it means my surge is starting though🤞.

@Dinosauraddict very personal question here so apologies but I'm getting despirate can I please ask how often you BD?

I’ve just been watching a video on egg fertilisation and implantation, praying it’s worked this month.

Does anyone think their appetite has increased on clomid? I can’t stop eating but it may be a sign of AF which is predicted to start in 9 days. Going to be the longest 9 days of my life. I’m 8 DPO and cycle day 23 today

@Jemstar33 I'm hungry all the time which is making the PCOS diet I'm trying to follow even harder.

Cd27 and 12dpo for me today. I'm due to poas tomorrow. Because I'm on progesterone there hasn't been any risk of af appearing, which has been quite relaxing, but I actually really don't want to poas tomorrow. I hate seeing a negative test!

@Jemstar33 one of the side effects of chlomid is weight gain so that could be due to increased appetite. I spend my life dieting so I'm always hungry lol

@Marmite83 are cycles are in sync this month 😃🤞🏽, so you’re testing at 13 DPO? I’m so excited for you! I’ll do the same, that’s not long to wait at all! How have you been feeling?

@Jemstar33 I feel tired, have sore boobs and lots of twinges down there but it's all the progesterone I'm on. I'm not feeling very hopeful as we only got to dtd on the day I got a positive ovulation test and then had to abstain for dh's semen analysis. Trying to stay positive though! Good luck for poas tomorrow!

@Jesskir89 we BD'd each of the 3 days before injection, the day of ovulation, and the day after...

@Marmite83 it could still happen. Have you had the results from the analysis. Hope it’s all positive.
Sorry I meant we ovulated on the same day in our cycles. I’ve still got a few days before I can POAS.
