Just watching it.Terrifying. There seems to be a spate of killings all over the Uk at the moment,not related of course but there's been so many murders featured in the news,more than usual it seems.

so he's not in custody? I hope they catch him soon.

I don't mean just these shootings. I mean UK wide killings,there seems to be more than usual at the moment.

I can't imagine what it's like there. Everyone has been told to stay indoors.

The BBC news site says that several people have been killed though the official toll,according to the news,is 1 at the moment.

I'm normally anti death penalty but I hope the police kill him.

I have text family to tell them to stay indoors, central Lakes. It's awful though they are saying he might be on foot now.

There must be lots of people out walking in the lakes on a nice day in half term, I hope they get him before anyone else is hurt.

11 people shot at least 3 fatalaties per bbc news now

BBC saying that they think 11 have been shot,unsure how many fatally.

A farmer has also been confirmed dead.

11 shootings not sue of fatalities.. Bet this bloke, Derek Bird, shoots himself in the end if the police don't get him.

i live in cumbria, thankfully in the south.

cumbria police website is give half hourly updates, seems he is now on foot.

very very scary though!
