i am here to confess that i too had one printed yesterday ! Bit of a faff having to sign up to do it as i got the first verification wrong ![ need new glasses ]

UnquietDad · 21/08/2009 10:03

Hooray! Mine is there. I took a leaf out of "xesmub"'s book and did a very in-jokey backwards name...

GentleOtter · 21/08/2009 10:11

AMT Lincs sort of missed the irony....

vbusymum1 · 21/08/2009 10:32

Wow, someone at the DM has been busy over night moderating the comments, some of these have actually made me laugh out loud which doesn't happen often.
But what is going on with the ratings - my busy mum one is now the worst rated so are MNers doing troll ratings as well ?

mummylin2495 · 21/08/2009 10:41

rofl at this name [ Mrs parper quiche .New hamshire ]

Ninks · 21/08/2009 10:43

"Meat-eaters are usually fiercer and more cruel, and the English are noted for their cruelty"

Who was that?

Love the names, UnquietDad.

madameDefarge · 21/08/2009 10:46

UD, I am in awe....

madameDefarge · 21/08/2009 10:49

Orm, there do seem to be a couple, my post has puzzled two people, who pointed out that spag bol and lasagne ar Italian dishes....

OrmIrian · 21/08/2009 10:51

Yes I saw those madame. After I posted

NonGratisAnusDailyMail · 21/08/2009 10:59

My rating has now gone from -10 to +3! At least some people think that Stella speaks sense!

UnquietDad · 21/08/2009 11:16

Of course nobody outside this place will get "Ainex"!

OrmIrian · 21/08/2009 11:20

I must admit she did rather stand out uqd

Katisha · 21/08/2009 11:21

Patently no-one at the DM is actually all that interested in MN, despite protesting that they are keen to keep the weekly column, or else they'd be on here and realising what was going on...

xesmuB · 21/08/2009 11:43

Did my Oxo one get it in. I can't view them all only the newest....

Katisha · 21/08/2009 11:46

Yes it's there.

You have to click the "view all" button a few times

xesmuB · 21/08/2009 11:46

Ooh it did! What is the moderator DOING exactly? Do they have English as a first language or are they just PTSL?

daftpunk · 21/08/2009 11:52

you are all very, very, bored.

i'm glad the DM situation has given you all something to do.

xesmuB · 21/08/2009 11:58

It's lunchtime! My thought's turned to my healthy sandwiches!

RustyBear · 21/08/2009 12:05

OK, own up - who is Jean Jacques Rousseau? Is that you UQD?

Would have thought that one would have raised suspicion, even in a DM moderator....

stillfrazzled · 21/08/2009 12:18

First thing I've ever genuinely enjoyed in the DM (comments, that is). Are any of them non-MN, do you think?

OrmIrian · 21/08/2009 12:23

But there's nothing to moderate. No-one is being rude or offensive. I don't suppose they object to a bit of teasing.

daftpunk · 21/08/2009 12:32

OrmIrian;
i doubt the DM gives a toss about some silly mumsnetters making up names and posting messages....it just a bit sad isn't it...

NonGratisAnusDailyMail · 21/08/2009 12:35

Oh come on DP, there's nowt wrong with a bit of harmless fun. And it is fun(ny) and it is totally harmless.

I do realise though it is poking fun at your rag paper of choice, and perhaps the people who usually post comments on there. PMSL at it all though!

paisleyleaf · 21/08/2009 12:35

They've never had such a successful column!
Funny though

daftpunk · 21/08/2009 12:55

you do realize that you're making the column more popular by commenting on it....

anyway..off to read the guardian on-line...see what nonsense the drippy liberals are on about today..."how to spot if your goldfish is homosexual"......"the human rights of immigrant head lice"

i might post some comments.
