Civil unrest, what's really going on?

1000 replies

Sadworld23 · 03/08/2025 17:02

My DH keeps chirping up with, there's riots here, protests there, immigrants have done assaults in xxx etc. He sees me as a bit of a do-gooder..

All UK places, but when I look at my regular news, there's very little reporting of it.

My DH has some MH issues currently and to confront him with 'what the heck are you reading?' isn't worth it right now.
I make comments such as, ooh that sounds grim and doesn't sound good, and that's very worrying, but I'd really like to know if it's really happening and where he's getting this info.

Honestly I think if I wrote the true answer to that it would break talk guidelines, so I won’t. Perhaps you could watch the documentary as it answers all your questions.

Why would the truth break Talk guidelines?

The worst that can happen is that your post will be deleted. If it is so important for us to know the truth, that's worth the risk, surely?

Do you provide the cars?

How they get about is up to them. 😀. But yes as a previous poster said they all seem to get e-bikes and manage.

Labour have reduced the number of hotels used for asylum seekers by at least half and they've done that by ramping up processing and deportations, they've gone what you voted for but it's a long winded battle. Reform won't be in the general election, Nigel Farage has always refused to run for PM, he exploited racists to vote for Brexit to protect offshore tax havens. He won't have any money or clout or any idea how to deal with the problem that his Brexit created! There's no instant fix to Brexit swinging this door wide open and creating millions of vacancies that these illegals are needed to fill - something for those who hate benefit reforms to think about!

Our male only one was shut down a year or so ago as was deemed unsuitable location.

They reopened it 6 months or so ago. I am pretty sure it was under labours watch.

So I don’t know if I believe them tbh, If they are just playing musical chairs and no one’s allowed to report or document where these are and the number then gov can just say whatever they want can’t they. It’s sad to say the trust isn’t there but it’s not.

So who bloody knows. You can’t say for certain that’s for sure. And I can’t either.

I wouldn’t go for the suggestion below, you’ll have more reports from waiting posters.

Nice try.
I'm sure all the info is available without the pp describing it.

Posters on this thread are either curious enough to seek it out, or in an entrenched position of immediately discounting anything I say.

It probably is, but I don't like frequenting those sort of sites, tbh.

Good answer. Be wary re attempts to get posters taken off the site. I’ve found your posts clear on this thread.

Who has attempted that?

If pp has a reasonable argument/explanation that is reasoned and factual they are not going to get kicked off the site, are they?

Maybe I will watch YL's documentary this evening and report back.

Nchangeo · 04/08/2025 17:01

Re. YL doc I am happy to talk about it. I have spoken about it before without being deleted so don’t know why I would now.

I can’t remember the exact details so this is loosely and alleged.

It’s regarding a boy who was paraded on MSM both nationally and internationally for ‘waterboarding’ an asylum seeker child. He was named, shamed and doxxed.

Allegedly this waterboarding incident was because the boy had threatened his sister. And the waterboarding was a playground scuffle which involved pouring a bottle of water on said kid 1 on 1.

Allegedly Teachers and heads and various people had allegations about asylum seeker kid that he was not a good egg. But were rumoured to have been paid off and too scared to talk.

Even if that is true he’s a kid after all and has come from a war torn background, seen terrible things, and come from a misogynistic culture. So likely pretty messed up.

I have no idea whether any, all or part of the above is true or not.

One thing which is unequivocally true which I cannot argue with even if it is TR saying so. Is that the accused waterboarding kid was under 16 and he wasn’t tried in a court of law. If we are supposed to not reveal Axel Rs name, age and details then we sure as hell shouldn’t be doing so for under 16s over school incidents.

Allegedly TR had to take the boy in because they couldn’t live at home due to death threats. Again no idea if that’s true.

None of this is ‘because of Brexit.’

It was a specific choice that Boris Johnson’s government made, entirely separate to the Brexit process and against the expressed wishes of their voters.

You are confusing correlation with causation.

Yes i voted remain but I don't hold Brexit responsible for immigration issues

Is it the one for which he served a jail sentence? After* *he admitted contempt of court by repeating false claims against a Syrian refugee?

Or does he have more works of fiction?

I wouldn't be bother if I were you, leave it for his fans.

Thank you!

So the documentary only covers that case?

I thought perhaps there was something wider addressed as well. The "very nefarious Islamic figures at play in every day British life and policy, the reach of which most people have no idea" that pp referred to.

Eta: agree that neither of the boys should have been named.

Yes same one. He covertly recorded the school staff and even headteacher admitting it was all a cover up.

So @Nchangeo has done a great job with a summary of the documentary.

But it doesn't really illustrate the "very nefarious Islamic figures at play in every day British life and policy, the reach of which most people have no idea" that you referred to. Where can I find evidence of that, please?

That’s part of the documentary. You really need to watch it to understand. If you watch it and think it’s a load of rubbish, that’s your prerogative.

The Great Replacement Theory. Is that what you are alluding to? Didn't YL write a book on it?

Edited

No, more the way in which when local officials are related to one another or followers of a common extreme religious view it’s very hard to achieve true fairness, democracy etc - to put it mildly.

EasternStandard · 04/08/2025 17:52

I see it’s been answered by pp

JamesMacGill · 04/08/2025 17:58

Unluckily for TR covert recording is not admissible hence the lack of effect on the verdict. But, if something isn’t niggling at you after seeing this, then you’re being wilfully ignorant. I would never defend TR as some kind of patriotic hero - he’s a petty criminal, a thug and probably an egotist. But two things can be true at once.

Tommy Robinson

The EDL founder is being sued by a teenager who was filmed being attacked at a Huddersfield school.
